Why overclocking?? my aspire one has a n280 atom processor. I'm running Windows 7 with modded GMA950 drivers i'm pushing 30 fps on 800x600 32bit. No overclocking, it only screws up your computer..
No it's not. 701 and 900-laptops have other processor and that is underclocked version. Atom is 1,6Ghz at stock and it can be overclocked to 1,68Ghz with super hybrid utility-application (comes with laptop). I have researched a bit and i heard that eeectl-program can be used with 901/1000-series laptops...
It's true, believe or not. Netbooks with atom-processors are NOT underclocked at default (you can underclock them to make your battery last longer). Maybe you have read about 701 or 900-laptop cause they come with older processor and they are underclocked (they can be overclocked with eeectl-program too =) ).
What drivers you use? I mean graphics etc. I have problem with NFS Porsche, It says: "3D graphics hardware could not be initialized" and I cannot run it. I have fresh from the box 1000h. Thanks in advance.

How did you overclocked it to 2Ghz? Any heat problems with such a big overclock for that tiny Atom processor?

The processor is underclocked when you get it.

Okay, maybe I just remember wrong. I think I gonna buy 1000H and wonder also little how long battery last with overclocked cpu, @ 1.8/2.0gHz.
