chicken and rice... or chicken+/or veggie soup is perfect for "sickness" (also perfect during a cold), since it does not stress the body so much and gives you a lot of nutrition and electrolytes back, that you probably lost while being sick. I felt so miserable for both of you.. I hate feeling sick (as in throwing up)...And the child will have great parents :D

When it comes to morning sickness...having some light crackers like saltines by your bed is good. Even before you get out of bed...nibble on some and slowllyyy get out of bed. Don't jump out. This should help. :)

I have that lemon ginger tea every night just add a bit of honey before you pour the boiling water in. I also read that it is really good for your digestive system because I have a sensitive stomach and get sick in the mornings and ever since I have drank that tea regularly, I have not been sick. It works great and tastes great!

@Sonia214 I have that its so yummy. But I would recommend making your tea adding a little cold water or letting it cool for a min then adding the honey. Honey looses its nutritional value when its added to boiling hot water.

I don't enjoy throwing up but don't have any problem doing it. I kind of like it because I usually feel better afterwards. I threw up multiple times each day in the first trimester with my first child. That I didn't like so much...lost 25 lbs because of it. It wasn't a big deal, though, because I had some extra cushion to lose. :)

I worked for an OB/GYN for 15 years and learned alot about pregnancy.

For Anna feeling sick is good, that means her pregnancy hormone is high and its good for the baby, but bad for New Mama Style Diet.

Although its all in their head, men do get sympathy symptons during their wives pregnancy, but I think that is sweet, that means they love them and feel their discomfort, but Jofus could have been sick from the pizza too!

I am sorry for your pain. However, you need to suck it up and act like two mature people having a baby. Whining about how bad you feel and how sick you are is not going to make it better. Many couples have gone through the morning sickness and lived. It doesn't get better than being blessed with a baby!

My grandmother used to make halloumi cheese and she would of dip it into chunky pieces of salt ( sea salt perhaps? ) and then save it in salt water. Generally to eat halloumi you have to wash it to remove excess salt( but it is sold now washed and packaged in the UK) I am kind of proud for being from the country that it is originally made from ( Cyprus) because it is getting popular in England.

The dogs were fine around Jonathon's nephew so I don't think they have to worry. Sure the barking all the time isn't ideal and the occasional accidents but Maltese can be really difficult to train. On the whole I think Albi and Sina are sweet - they could be a lot worse!

@connie123abc it was wretched but he is fine now. He's 15 months old now. I couldnt hold anything down for a long time and had to go to the hospital days in a row sometimes to get hydrated. Then as if that wasnt enough i went into labor at 27 weeks, 4 min appart contractions and 1 cm dialated. luckily they were able to stop the labor and i was put on bed rest for 4 months.

Have you ever thought about taking Albi and Sina to a dog trainer? I'm not saying that the two are not trained but especially with Albis problem with strangers you might wanna talk to a trainer before the baby is there so that you and the dogs are not stressed out so much. Not that the dogs think the baby is a toy or wake the baby up with their barking. ;)
