  • not really as good as yours akpevbe but this is my effort :)

  • absolutely incredible!!

  • going to gave this a go tomorrow iv got the canon 500D all ways wanted to no how to get them photos :)

  • What lens were you using

  • @Hiheyhelloyo canon 100mm macro lens

  • Great to see some genuine (non-photoshop) artwork. Keep up the good work.

  • 0:40- 0:56 is the earth

  • amazing.

  • Amazing pics. Well done

  • 2:04... so good...

  • Exquisite. Thank you.

  • do have the different colors you have a light on top in one color and the other color on the side

  • how is that a sculpture?

  • how on earth do you get the image of the earth in the droplet without manipulating in photoshop?

  • perhaps they are sculptures?

  • @UNIbreaker no, they are droplets, and as per description, they are untouched by image editing software... so how is it possible?

  • I'm pretty sure the earth droplets have a background of earth. Just like looking at a water droplet you can see a smaller and round version of yourself. I think its just a flat map in the back, but I can't be sure.

  • @TheApple128k that is a plausible explanation, but they seem too perfect. i wish akpevbe would respond him/herself...

  • :) It would be great if Akpevbe did, but we may never know for sure.

  • @TheApple128k ...100% correct

  • @TrueAiR picture of the earth behind and just out of frame.

  • @TrueAiR

Put a paper at the back with a world map on it. Then take photos, and if you're lucky.. You have a fantastic photo :)

  • @TrueAiR

Sorry i wasn't here to answer your questions guys.

None of these images have been manipulated with photoshop.

The photo of the earth through the drop was achieved by placing an A4 pic of the earth about 8-10inches away from the drop(turned upside down).

The magic happens once you start shooting through the drop (Make sure you adjust the length between the A4 paper and the drop so as not to see the edges of the paper.

    Hope this answers your questions.

some of the guys here were right.

  • that's just wonderful! hope i can get something like the globe in a droplet done sometime. must have taken hours...

  • @akpevbe :P i was gonna explain, but i just saw this one. :D <3 refracture

  • @TrueAiR Strobe LIght ?? retarrd ?

  • @SHOOt2Q Erm, no.

  • @TrueAiR with the map behind and upside down.

  • @TrueAiR its pretty simple

  • look this it's very important:

    H2O EMERGENCY 1PRODAN1

  • 1.15 looks like a smiley face with a pointy 3D nose lol

  • amazing

  • calm down there adrian1167 - I admit it was VERY interesting to watch- and the shots were GREAT GREAT works- but

the whole anti-gravity thing... calm down guy lol , take a seat and relaaaaaax lol

  • The very secrets of antigravity lie within the reflection of a water drop. As the drop hits the water the waves caused by it combine and cause spin (gravity) at the center point of the converging waves.

This spin energy (gravity) allows the object (in this case a water drop) to rise, but it quickly falls because there is nothing feeding it the spin energy to keep it afloat.

See Stan Deyo's vids here on youtube for greater explanation.

  • 0:32 discovery channel - Time Warp ???

  • water is truly amazing in every perspective possible

  • Fantastic. When I was working on my own water droplet YouTube project, called "intro-duck-tion," I found capturing the perfect droplet to be exhausting.

Youve obviously perfected such skills! Keep up the great work.

  • great pictures

  • I love these.

I am doing translucent objects for an art project and i've been trying to get photo's of water droplets to inlcude in my work [with a basic digital camera tho :( ] I need to do research on other people's work aswell and i would LOVE to do yours, if thats ok.

  • what camra did you use?and what settings was this high speed?wow i like it..let art live..dan..ny

  • I used a canon 20D with shutter speed set between 1/1000 to 1/4000

  • i loved the video its freat!!..dan in ny ps check out letartslive my other utube account

  • @akpevbe is that really neccesary because i was able to get decent shots with a low aperature and 1/450 ish speed. my setup was jank but it still worked

  • @shermalerp its really all about what works for you

  • i like 1:07 looks like a duck about to eat its baby haha

  • 0:37, that is what i wanted to see, using 2 colors to show depth

  • brings a whole new level to newtonian mechanics

by understanding this video we can better understand how longitudinal waves propogate in space time

    very good stuff , namaste

  • absolutely amazing! You don't have a flickr account? I'd love to see your stats, this is very inspiring.
