They just love the "significant" other for who they are.

Finally! INXS have done what they should have done years ago. Instead of the trivial and commercialised search for a replacement lead singer, the band should have taken hold of the reins and run with their own pure talent. Great version, great vocals, great tribute.

I like the original better . This is pretty good , but the more amped up version is actually in my top three fav songs by inxs.. The energy of the original is great.. The saxaphone sticks out like a sore thumb in this version . It's not bad- I just prefer the original
Great interpretation of the original song, bringing it calmly into the modern era and creating an awareness of the great INXS. I saw Michael perform the original in Birmingham, 1990 as part of the last 4 encore songs. It blew me away! Recently caught it at the end of the 2009 movie Adventureland also. INXS and Michael Hutchence were and always will be phenomenal to me.

@jmm311 Fair enough mate,I wasnt a fan of the reality show either but dont forget Andrew Farriss wrote the music and lyrics for 90% of all INXS songs.So surely he has the right to carry on playing, lets face it his music! I bought the latest album and saw them in concert and they were excellent live as always.I think as long as the music they are making is interesting and listenable and not like the latest REM single(They should call it a day now) then they should play on.Wat r u listening 2 ?

Dont Change is one of my favorite INXS songs, I was so tired of all the crap versions lately so my band recorded our version of the song. its OK.. ok.. I do like it.. but when I get to see INXS again, I hope they would close the show with the original version. The original DONT CHANGE was the first INXS video released in the US, I dont think it made it to the top 10, but it is still my most favorite song by the band, which is very difficult to say because I love soooo many of their songs...which is why, to date, I have seen them 13 times!

The new arrangement is beautiful, haunting memories of Hutch are induced and I think intended. I cried when INXS performed the new version of Dont Change live in concert this year, they also closed the show with the original version.

mmmmmmmm i see this in a different light -i think it could be classed as a dedication from the band to michael -in the sense -wherever ever you are michael "don't change" as you will always be remembered for the truley amazing artist you were and still are but i do agree the video is probably not the best suited to the song-maybe a collection of old footage of the band with michael over the years -just my personal opinion
I think I like this. Perhaps I like this a lot. We'll never get Michael back, so to do a remake would be in poor taste. A re-interpretation by Tim & Kirk lets me still honor his memory.
I think I need to listen to it a few more times, but I can't say that I like it at the moment. I've grown up listening & loving INXS but this re-mix stuff dosn't do it for me. Each to their own, I'm sure it will have it's own following. Still wishing the boys fantastic future's filled with happiness xx

Depending on my mood, that clip can make me tear up still.

This has always been my favorite INXS song. Thought this would just be some "unplugged" rehash, for a buck.
I was wrong.
The same words we said with a sharp edge yesterday can, somehow, be spoken with gentleness and love at it's core today.
"Don't Change" is now...my two favorite INXS songs.
