I agree, too literal. If one can make such a basic video one can make something much more artistic. some of this is annoyingly simplistic, but I guess it is a very personal thing as every time Andy sings "me" there is a photo of the same person. Very personal. not very musing or mused. If I knew how to do this i would go all out, probably take me a month.

As I understand it this video is gently mocking the fact that a lot of videos of the 80s were literal. I think it's inspired, particularly the use of Dubya when the word 'creep' is sung...lol

I love Erasure but they're videos have always been awful. This is an improvement imo and maybe pays "respect" to the literal interpretations in their own 80s videos.
