  • Stylistically, one of the most amazing films. One of my absolute favorites.

  • I just saw it tonight. It pulled me in very quickly and then blew my mind. Entirely made on a set? Amazing.

  • I will never forget this song or the scene where the general jumps into the sea while holding the anchor.

  • it's DAN NO URA by Kinshi Tsuruta

  • Timeless classic! The movie and soundtrack are very moving !!! A must see experience !

  • @ivansanchez98 i agree

  • masterpiece

  • @grwatanabe 100% correct

  • the sharpest minds in the history

  • Flawless

  • Any idea where you can get the soundtrack? I've been looking everywhere (and likely still am) but can't find it

  • I found it on ITunes but they took it off. Damn right!!

  • I don't know of a soundtrack, but this song is Dan No Ura by the Satsuma biwa player Tsuruta Kinshi. She is the most influential biwa player of the 20th century, and her recordings are available worldwide. Check Amazon or other similar stores for more biwa music (or my channel!).

  • Nice one

  • i truly, truly love this great movie!! If I were a powerful movie producer, I would do a remake of this movie!!

  • C'Mon, why would you need to make a remake of something already perfect?

  • well some movies like King Kong diserve to be re made. To let the legasy be pased onto another generation.
