Install time if only about 30-45 minutes in most applications. I have one in my 94 325i cabrio.

i like this vids, but i don't understand how a compact with 321 ps ( 236 kw ) can beat a porsche , the new bmw M3 and a maserati, because all theses cars have better perfs, better acceleration , and a lot more power , so.....

@Trystelune well the motor is that newer e46 m3 and compact is way lighter than e46 ! dunno about the porsche, and i doubt that the engine swap is the only thing...

@komentatorius69 I totally agree with you than a compact is more lighter , and this engine is definitely a great one, but the others cars have really good reputation on track . don't get me wrong, i'm not saying that this is impossible, it's just i'm very surprized by the result :)

Hast du deine Rundenzeiten gestoppt, würde mich interessieren. Durch die Kamerapostion und dem Sound schauts oft schneller aus als es ist. Aber trotzdem ein geiles Video.

Ehhmm geiler wagen..hab auch einen compact...leider nur einen 328 ^^...und heisst das nicht s52b32..???weil mit s50 wird doch der 3 liter m3 bezeichnet..mit 286ps..

Nee, der S52 ist die US Version des E36 M3, also ein M52 mit 3,2 Litern Hubraum. Der Euro M3 heißt tatsächlich S50B32.

Also soviel ich weis steht das 50 egal ob S oder M für das Grauguss motortyp.

Und ich weis zu gut das der euro 3,2 m3 kein graugus sonder alu block ist.
