Here in WI they ignored us as long as they could but it's kind of hard to totally ignore numbers over tens of thousands and over a hundred thousand a couple of times. We did not go away, we persisted, we filmed, posted, protested, took pictures, blogged, contacted radio talk shows, news organizations, family, friends and anyone who would listen to us. They won't give you coverage you need to make it happen.

Your right it is not the 1970's I was a young adult in the 70's, I know. We are in big trouble here in this country. if we can't get people to simply stand up & figure out how to use social media to get the word out we're in even worse shape. This is going to be a long haul but a walk in the park compared to what protesters in Egypt, Yemen and Syria stand against. We simply need to be inconvenienced those brave souls went out knowing others were brutalized and killed for standing up.
