This Video was filmed in around 1995.. filmed in downtown Chicago.. over looking the Chicago river.. ooohhh .. how romantic.. ;) not sure if you can still get this Cd as I believe the company is no longer in business.. a great Cd.. although I never bought it.. I just shot the girlfriend part for this video.. haha.. funny that people still remember this.. yes, a bit cheesy now looking back, and really surprised to see it on here.... but was alot of fun to shoot.. :)
I have one CD out of this three disc set. The people that lived in this house left it behind. It's a pretty good collection... but, now, you could easily find the songs and burn your own mix. I wish those people didn't take the other two CDs... they had the best songs on them.
OMG I remember this commercial, totally forgotten all about it until now, I haven't seen this commercial since around 1995 or so, thanks for the memories of putting this commercial on here :)
Damn it, trying to find the name of voice overs are pretty hard. I've been trying to find his name for a long time as well.
I'm also looking for the nae of the guy who did the Wendy's hamburgers commercials during the Dave Thomas era. I think he hasn't done any since Dave Thomas died. The last time I heard his voice was on a recent Boar's Head Deli radio commercial.
I belive Mr Low Tone is still alive. There was a recent AARP commercial that I saw about a week ago. I swear that it could have been Low Tone's voice. In fact, I think that I'm right, because Low Tone has done AARP commercials in the past before.
yah so i just called this number, and they pretended to have no idea what i was talking about....but i saw through there clever guise, just keep calling...THEY WILL GIVE IT TO YOU!
the first song they played was Jon Secada, probably 92--so this is *not* 80s--unless they crossed some temporal/dimensional rift--in which case this *would* be worth gold! 8-)
Yep...I knew it right off the bat, since there's no way an 80s compilation would feature Jon Secada's "Do You Believe In Us", which was a hit in 92...LOL
why not ? do canadians and americans not get on ? why don't they? it is just like here in Scotland...we absolutly HATE the english only coz centuries ago they tried to steal our land. i wasn't aware that can and us didn't get on !

Damn it! This decade SUCKS MAJOR ASS.

Who is the announcer that announced how to order? Because I think he should be back doing that.
MysticArksRevenge 3 years ago
"Low Tone" has long since been replaced with the more recent announcer featured in several of Billy Mays' advertisements.
That and I do believe "Low Tone" may have passed away back in 2003. His last known "how to order" was hear in many of The Scooter Store ads.
To be honest, I'm still trying to find a name for the guy! ^__^;;

Most of the voice overs from these commercials may have passed away, and how ironic, since Don LaFontaine recently passed! ^__^

the couple on the commercial are so cheesey. seriously, who does that?
stepne82 4 years ago
Why is the scrolling of the song titles and artists so choppy? Is that the way it was when the commercial aired?
spectrum10 4 years ago
They misspelled The Jeff Healey Band.

For all intents and purposes the 80s extended from 1978 til 1992...
naughtykarate 5 years ago 3
@naughtykarate i'd argue the 80s ended in 1986. I'm ok with the 1978 window tho
eslubin 1 year ago
nice cd.. this commericial wasnt 80s though, I would say maybe around 1991 or 1992, because the Stevie B. song was in the early 90s.
