  • my cart was modded by mr. vdh best stylus so I practice first on cheap sumiko.Sure enough I broke the stylus but it help me do the denon right.

  • I'll bet DENON would love to see this video? At least they don't have to worry about the warranty any longer.

  • Hi , I have just modded a standard 103 so that I can send my Kiseki cartridge away to be retipped, I will not be waiting for the postman every morning as the "New" Denon sounds excellent , I haven't even properly set it up yet, I was keen to make sure I hadn't fractured any of the wires.

I couldn't find the stylus guard, so I did the work very Carefully indeed,

thank you very much for your superb video.

  • I put mine into an alloy body from ebay - that was very worthwhile, it sounded much more open. I didn't like my 103R until I put it into a better body, when you free it from the plastic you see the corners Denon cut to save money!

  • That block model at the end looks similar to my cartridge. God, I need to upgrade.

  • Anyone know if UWE still sell the wood body?

  • where can i get the wood body for the cartridge?

  • I have just set up a 103R to my roksan Xerxes, waiting for the run in, pleased so far

  • i had one tucked away until i sold mine to a frd who recently got it sent to Zu audio for an alu body upgrade

  • Very nice. Did the sound improve?

  • i've been told that it makes a huge sound improvement, i'm replacing my backup cart soon i will most likely get the 103 and find out.
