  • Ça ressemble en tabarnac à l'espagnol

  • I'm from Brazil, and I think you're learning European Portuguese. But, as I listen to European Portuguese, I know they don't roll the R as you did in "três".

  • (I just read the video description) No, I think your pronunciation of 1 is absolutely perfect!

  • @AvanRJ Thank you! I see you're from Brazil. That means a lot to me :D

  • I'm a native speaker of (Brazilian) Portuguese and your nasal vowels are absolutely wonderful. I assume you're speaking European Portuguese, but even so I don't think they roll their r's as you did for três, and your stressed vowels sound a bit longish sometimes, but again I think you're just giving them an emphatic pronunciation.

That's really impressive! Keep up the good work~

  • @AvanRJ Thanks. I find the nasal vowels fun! I actually didn't know any Portuguese when I made this video. I just read about the pronunciation and listened to some recordings and tried it myself.

  • but in spanish and filipino it's 1.uno, 2.dos ... 8.ocho ...

  • What is your native language? I'm guessing it is a Germanic language?

  • @starsoverthere My first language is Chinese, but my primary language is English since I was born and raised in the US. (: Do I sound like I have a germanic accent or something?

  • @kourin2688 Yes a bit haha

  • @kourin2688 You sound American to me. I'm British.

  • @laneybabe1 I am American.

  • yes but this is the correct way

  • This is European pronunciation.

In Brazil people speak 16 and 17 dezEsseis, dezEssete.

  • @caiovls Of course it is European. If it is Portuguese where else would it be from?

  • @caiovls I could give you dozens of different accents inside Portugal itself, so, basically Portuguese from Brazil just another different accent to the language (like there are many other accents inside Brazil also).
