Yeah? Tell me 5 words! Right now, I can not think of just one word that sounds the same. Even if, listen for 1 minute to danish, then 1 minute to german... Everyone who thinks both language sound the same or even "similar" is... sorry, dumb...

2. you speak some german

You state, there are a lot of words, shared by both languages, ok.

Now its my turn.

1. I AM german

2. I was born near the danish border and went there often for holiday, shopping and what not...

I say, those languages dont share a fucking thing...

Of course, some words sound the same, but that does not grant the slightest possability to mix them up - except one is stupid, really...

@CombatMedicTM well that's why people might think that it sounds like german lol If they don't know either language then it's pretty easy to think that this could be german. Of course to you they sound completely different cus you know both languages but to someone else there's not that great of a difference.
