ppl sometimes question that his voice doesn't fade as he pulls the mic away or back but I believe this is due to the way the microphone is programmed. The type of microphone, and the sensitivity (not volume) has an affect on how the voice is "gated" so that little is picked up when the mic is far away and this is adjusted more for certain songs like Soul where he sings without the mic. There are some videos of this song where he hits the note without the mic, like the Chongqing concert.

@FrankyboyLegend also Vitas does have a tendency not to hold the note when he takes the mic away, he often just skips the note like ha-ha-ha; this is especially true nowadays with most of his songs, compared to earlier concerts like this one where he shows off more of his voice without the mic. He doesn't sing Opera 2 or Crane's like this anymore.

Every time I watch one of his videos I find myself with my mouth wide open... This doesn't happen to me very often. He has a great voice, but what is remarkable at Vitas is the total control on his beautiful voice.

What you are saying is much difficult and risky than live singing itself. Besides that, you don't bring an entire orchestra just to mime that you are singing. It is not logical!!

You can see on his face that he is proud of his voice, of his ability to make people happy and amazed of his performance. He wouldn't take that away just to lip sync.

It's just not very easy to record as professional recordings use soundboards and audience camcorder mic is pretty bad at picking up these sounds too. At 3:23 he sounds different from the original. In the original he does that same sort of "tired" effect but it's not as noticeable.

Then you obviously had never been to any live concerts. All the live concerts by professional singers sounded exactly the same as in albums. I've been to his concert in Shanghai and Taipei. He even stopped in the middle of the song and started to interact with the audience. The entire orchestra and jazz band had to stopped with him as well. Most people think he lip synced because such high pitch from a man just sounded humanly impossible. You have to see him live and you will get it.
