  • BROTHERRRRRRRRRRRRRR THIS IS SO COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! love L^2 :) i expect you to teach me before you go to college!!!!!!

  • you should think about forming a band

  • tiny hats :o

  • loving all your kit D:

  • have that same snare and was getting the same sound out of it i got it sounding better though

  • Great hand technique.

  • @outlawedman Thanks a lot man! Anywhere specific you're thinking of?

  • @bwall1593 You hi hat patterns are really smooth and you're Doubles are really clean.

  • Liking the hi-hats!!!

  • HEY WHAT KIND OF HI HATS ARE THOSE?

  • How do you like the chopper? Would you advise other drummers to get one?

  • man, nice finish!

  • man, nice finish!

  • How many time did you begin to play?

  • @antiago1983 When did you start playing drums? *

  • nice ,

    very nice solid groovy beat

  • Thanks a lot!

  • Duude , awesommm .

First off , that chopper thing's weird lol.

and your snare is goddly : (

  • thanks man.. it is weird. and you'll find one some day!

  • Hey, nice playing!

Those are some tiny hi-hats! Personally i don't think the sound of the large crashes really go with the sound of small hi hats :)

  • Thanks!

  • Awsome playing mate :) one of the few solos ive seen of people not going absolutley mental. Great job.

Is it push pull double rolls your using in your quads? Or is it just regular singles? Keep it up

  • thanks! it's just singles. i've tried to do doubles and it's never been the thing for me... :(

  • Ah right sweet :) clean singles though mate, they look quite like doubles. Doubles are quite akward in quads, never worked for me either lol :) keep groovin babyyyy ;D

  • What size is that hi-hat?

  • Not sure which one you're talking about... check the info!

  • @bwall1593 Okay i get it now. I was just curious because your hi-hats look and sound so exotic. And you play very good by the way. (:

  • thanks!

  • @Qalstootel play very well*

  • I just ordered the same basspedal. I hope it's a good choice, cause I'm just a beginner in dubble bass ... what you think ?

  • good choice. very solid and very reliable.

  • How do you like those bass pedals?

    nice playing also.lol

  • they're real smooth and powerful. not as fast as some pedals but still a good buy!

  • Good stuff. I wish I was that good. How long have you been playing?

  • thanks man, i'm sure you can get there! just listen to lots of drummers and take notes! then put your own spin on it of course!

i've been playing for 6 years now. but i've only seriously cared about it for 3. thanks for watching!

  • heyy matee.

id just likee to say a massive thank youu for sharing this video and also for introducing me to the vado pocket cam. i got one today (xmass) and ive got to say the quality of the video is AMAZING (maybe thee playingg..not so much, but hey ho :P)

so, ill hopefully have some vids up sooon mate and ill respond back to this vid with a little something like a cover or whatever :)

thanks again pal, take caree and keep on doinn your thingg yeahh :D

    Sam x

  • thanks for the comment!

it's a real cool camera! i was surprised that nobody had used it on youtube yet for drums, but yeah it works really nicely!

leave a response and i'll watch it! thanks man.

  • a little sloppy, my recommendation to fix that would be to wear a belt and maybe tuck in the shirt. I prefer to wear my puma socks a little looser but if that's what you were going for then that's cool.

  • good joke dant. here cmere.

  • 4:45 = :- O

  • haha you would :)

  • awesome, dude!! only recommendation would be to loosen up your 8" chopper and it would sound so much better :) unless thats the way you like it :P

  • i've experimented... the bigger the chopper, the looser i like it! this one doesn't have a very good white noise sound, so i use it as just a click. thanks though!

  • And your kit too! very good sounding and beautifull... good taste!

  • thanks!

  • Nice cymbals, but I love the hats (both)...

  • ii gotta say, the quality that this video has come out ON YOUTUBE is incredible lol, ii need to get myself one of thoes creative vado thingy ma'jobies ;D

somee nicee chops there mate, takee care of yourself yeah :)

    Peacee x

  • they're great! thanks man!

  • Ever tried Remo?

  • i have! i've played on many types of remo in the past. some of them sound great, but they have much less durability than evans, and i think evans as a brand sounds better.

  • Hows the Saturn?

  • it's great! very versatile. pro level drumset with great attention to detail. i got mine for around 2,000... great deal for a drumset of it's quality.

  • Personal preference! Thanks man!

  • Beautiful snare. Got the same one myself.

  • Very versatile and great :)

  • good groove man!

your x-celerator hats is in brilliant or traditional finish?? :D

  • Thanks! They're just in traditional :(

  • not bad man. Never seen a groove compilation. Really good.

  • Check out Benny Greb - Just groovin'.

    Much better than me! :)

  • Benny Greb is a freakin machine!

    Nice pocket man :P

    And your kit is sweet!

    Check out my videos!

  • superb!! i wasnt even that good when i was 16 y.o. Keep up the good work!! I gave you 5/5 :)

  • thanks! rating is appreciated :) :)

  • i have the genera hd dry head too its really really dry isnt it

  • veryyy dry haha. but i like it! very durable as well.

  • Omg dude i have a saturn except mines is a 7 piece kit and it's the green emerald fade, also i have the exact same snare as you :D Nice grooves by the way.

  • nice! and thanks :)

  • woot!

i have the same ride :D

  • it's a nice one :)

  • ive prolly watched this like 10 times lol

i wanted to ask you about ur 11 prototype hats??

    did u special order them??

  • haha great :)

nope, my local music store often carries prototypes that they special order. i bought them from them.

  • ah i see, thts cool, lucky lol

ive talked to them and they said it take 12 weeks to get a special order done,

i was guna do it, but i dont realy wanna wait that long lol

  • Hey, I got a Vado HD and I really like it. I was also wondering how you like your 8" chopper. I was thinking about getting one, but I didn't know what size to get. I was leaning toward the 12" so I could use it for kind of a hi-hat sound. Any suggestions? Is the chopper worth buying?

  • yeah, it's a great camera!

the chopper is a great little cymbal... it's all about preference for size though. The bigger you get, the more electronic sound you get. The 8" is very high pitched. If i had to do it over again, i'd probably get the 10" because it would be more versatile. remember though, all 3 can be adjusted just by how hard you screw down the cymbal!

  • dude man your double bass drumming sounds weak, your feets supposed to be heel Up, unless you were digging that small sound. around 4;46

  • I do in fact play heel-up, although both ways are technically acceptable. You just can't tell because my jeans are so baggy.

I was not going for a weak sound... I'm always up for criticism, but I don't feel it was a small sound... It may be the fact that i'm not using a bass drum microphone. But thanks for the insight!

  • how did you get all this awesome gear?

  • Hey, how did you record your set? I can't see any mics, but it still sounds really good. Did you use a mixer at all?

  • nope, i didn't use anything. Just a big carpeted room and a creative vado hd camera. It's got a really good microphone!

  • Nice, I think I might buy one now. Your video seems to be better quality than most I've seen even though there's no HD option. How did you do that?

  • wow, didn't even notice that. when i first uploaded, it had a high quality option...

It's probably because i mixed it in windows movie maker, then published it as a movie maker video... idk! Still good quality though :)

  • Hey dude, I got the same set, except with a 22x18" bass, my set is in Galaxy Burst, holy crap it's beautiful!! so is your's!

  • they're very pretty drums :) Thanks!

  • cool ;)

  • nicely done dude. you are on your way, you are also very creative. and its good quality. keep rocking dude :)

  • thanks man!

  • use your xs20s and put your 11" hh prot. as your aux. hats

  • i sold my xs20's... and i do use my hh's. i don't have an x hat though so they're just on a stand haha

  • yayyyy brian

  • nice set
