Its a mix of the band and the movie..and the movie is called "Reality Bites" with Ethan Hawke, Winona Ryder, and Ben Stiller..classic 90's movie!!! hope that helps :-)
Before anyone tell me i'm wrong, i'm wrong, it was produced by Mike Chapman and written by Doug Fieger and Berton Averre. I knew Mike Chapman had something to with it though.
if this version of the knack, the truth is that if the Ramones had its version, I do not know whether it is a cover, I suppose that if by the time of the knack
there's a lot of misconceptions about this song ... in fact it was written by The Knack .... a lot of limewire personell and just plain ol numbskulls who dont know the difference between the knack and the ramones assume that the ramones did this song .... doesd anyone see 4 guys in matching leather jackets and pudding bowl haircuts here> definitely not the ramones.
hey dumb fuck the ramones dont sing this asswipe song. the knack do. im gonna find u and kill u. then rape ur dead corpse. and do u wonder why u wake with milk in ur butthole?
um, stargiottiloris, this is not a ramones cover. this is the song that Doug Fieger (lead singer), and Berton Averre (lead guitarist) wrote for their breakout hit record, "Get the Knack". It's not that the ramones covered it for the knack. it's the other way around.
I remember playing this 11 times in a row on the jukebox in Twins Pizzeria in Lemont Illinois in 1979 when I 10 until the owner cam out and told me not to play it again or he'd turn off the jukebox.
Heard this song 2 weeks ago at a birthday party and at first it was kind of bwaaa.. until they all started to dance and then later on in a disco they played... yes this song.... and well yeh it was great to dance to!!!
They made an "Best of" album in 1992, "Retrospective - the Best of the Knack". you might wanna concider buying it if you like the knakck, although i haven't really listened alot to the album.
Damn this is the top 40 radio station short version,, the uncut song has a longer guitar solo with a great build up.
