I love this guy's courage to say what's really going on in layman's language ;he talks a lot of sense and has a very good insight into the way this civilisatin is headed.
I have to agree with him that most people are stupid. But i would put myself into that category too. And many scientists and many so called intellectuals. The reason why is so many people cant see logic clearly, they find it hard to understand the consequences of actions and how certain actions are affected by other things. They believe stupid fallacies that can be easily debunked if stripped to the bare bones, expanded, or flipped to the negative. Things that arent hard to grasp but hard to see
Also, in addition to the comment below, most self-identified libertarians (non-LP) want liberty, but not enough to actually work for it. This is because they are fairly comfortable, and the price of fighting for liberty seriously is attracting serious opposition. Most libertarians realize that their "comrades" will not defend them when they become Ed and Elaine Brown. They will go down in flames. Casey is 100% correct. I've been a huge fan of his since his essay in "The New Prohibition"
What I've noticed about Libertarians (Libertarian Party) is that they eat their own. I worked for the LP for several years, and I was hated. As one of the guys who put the LP on the ballot in several states, I realized that libertarians hate political workers, and rebel against political victory if it doesn't happen fast (and it can't happen fast). Now, if Libertarians wanted liberty, they could draw up a realistic plan for winning it, and make it happen. But they really don't want liberty..

@5:43 the discussion of stupidity begins, and Doug defines morons, imbeciles, and idiots. Classic!
