It so sad to hear of his passing. A true hero. We need more Brian Haw's but I fear he is a rare type of person that is prepared to stand up to the great injustices and criminals of our times. Peace campaigner Brian Haw is in hospital with lung cancer. He deserves financial support to continue his anti-war protest in Parliament Square in London-UK. Haw received the award for "Most Politically Inspiring Figure of the Year" at the 2007 Channel Four Political Awards, beating Tony Blair and David Cameron by a factor of seven, sacrificing his health, life and family. British government has tried to silence Brian Haw on numerous occasions 24/7 since June 2001 but failed so far.
