When i made that mission for the first time, i got pwnd by the Scorcher or something, i actually went to help some dudes repairing the cooling system and i got killed by something. Then i came back, but in CS weapon damage sucks, and the Normal 7.62 Ammo just sucks, takes 2 mags to kill a zombie. Third attempt, i returned to yantar with 1700 Rounds of every gun i could find.., Because i tought we had to go underground. I was wrong *Phew*

All of the stalker games are good.. just the first one.. Stalker SOC you need to install lurk mod or some of the others.. cause the first stalker game wasn't really all the way down meaning.. you can't repair or upgrade weapons.. but with mods u can! its easy and AWESOME!

@dirtyx11 Because in all versions of the game, the background battle banter, or just random banter between other STALKERs is not recorded in any language except Russian. It's the same for all versions, including English. The only way to hear EVERYTHING in the language you have the game set to is if you set it to Russian.

this AI is fucked up : it shoots / spots you through wall, it's unrealistically accurate with shit weapons at 300m, it's constantly blocking your way, it's moving away when you talk to it... etc etc

Crysis is all about pretty, Far Cry 2 is a circular game, in that after 20 mins you are repeating everything again and Left for Dead is all about how fast you can mouse click. If STALKER is 18 years old in AI Age, the other titles barely reach 12 years of age!

NPC's in my game buy weapons and armour off me, they loot bodies, they throw grenades, they avoid anomalies they drag human and non human bodies away from the camp fire after a battle, they will swap from a machine gun to a shotgun as you get closer... Is that not good enough for you?
