@mowingthefrontlawn it's godric's hollow. Voldemort was born there and when he moved out James and lily moved in, had Harry and when voldemort came back to godric's hollow he killed them. As seen in the seventh movie, nagini, disguised as an old lady, is in the house waiting for Harry and hermione. It was originally Tom riddle's house.
Hey that was really cool. How many days did it take you do all this? How far apart was all the locations? How about the forest sences? Was that close by and the rock on the coast before the cave.. Was that a real place or CGI? Good job
@benco007 they filmed at alnwick castle for some scenes like the one on the first film where they were on the brooms for the first time for the first 2 movies but moved to all these other sets that this nice gentleman just shown us :)
Hi there! I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter and I enjoyed your little tour very much! I am studying media tourism at the university of Rotterdam in Holland and i'm writing my thesis on people who visit Harry potter film locations. Can I ask you why you visited the filmlocations? And even though you know that in the movies it is all a fantasy why do you want to make it a tangible experience?. Hope you can help me! Bye

In July I organized and accompanied a trip for fans from here, we were in those places too!. In Christ Church they told us that the first scenes were taken but for the rest they used an built set based on the original. I loved Lacock.
Whaaaa T_T I went to madame tussauds last wednesday, and Daniel wasn't there! Damn it xD And if I'd known about platform 9 3/4, I'd have gone there while I was in London, but unfortunately, I'm back home now... Oh well, next time I WILL go there.
I live in Oxford and I have always thought they didn't film the dining hall scenes at Christchurch, I thought they built the set based on Christchurch hall but no filming took place there.... ???
You're 95% right, with one catch. The docent at 7:03 told me that they had tried to film at Christchurch for the first movie but the inconvenience to the Oxford students after 6 weeks of filming was so bad that they had to abandon it and build a set based on the hall, which was then used for filming. So... the real Christchurch dining hall isn't seen in the movies, but there was a serious attempt to initially film there.
i have some photos at king cross' platform 9 3/4 , the bridge and even a wax character of daniel radcliffe at madam tussauds, in two days i'll go to see the HP tour, i have tickets, i'm so excited :)
You're quite right! That is indeed James and Lily Potter's House--and where they were murdered by Voldemort. Thanks for pointing this out and glad you enjoyed the video.

Good video but littered with inaccurate info.
I'm glad I now know about the dining hall, I won't bother going there if it wasn't in the movies.
