I followed all the directions, and I have it installed, but it doesn't seem to be working. When I use swype to text, it shows the path of my finger, but after I lift my finger up, it just beeps, and doesn't type anything. I went through the entire tutorial, and the problem is still not resolved.

When i download it i get a zip file and extract it but it becomes a folder that says .adk at the end, its not a .adk file, any clue?

ive installed it, and it works, but it doesnt work when i try using it. i would swype a word and the keyboard would blink a blue color.

is anyone having a problem where the package manager wont install it cause it says theres not enough room for it to be viewed? i have 18 mb free but its only giving me the option to manage applications or cancel. I don't think its a problem with the file but i've never seen it before.

@matjuliano what i did was named it swype, then i deleted it off my phone and put the file with the original name back on there and it worked.

I have the original mytouch and everything seemed to work fine untill i went to type and it said "the swype package you installed does not match the size of the device." Any suggestions?

i download the zip file, as i drag and drop to the SD card it says its blocked... so when i extract it to the SD card it says its password protected... HELP!!!

Well after i did that, i put that file to my SD card, and couldnt install after i looked for it in my Astro

no. you're supposed to extract the .zip file and put the .apk file that's inside it on your SD card.

Swype worked very well on my Hero. The only thing is that it would be nice if we could add / remove dictionaries (I mean, easily...). Thanks for uploading!

@fernandomfernandes u can just go to the settings , and somewhere is dictionary just add ur own wordss and then next time it will add the words under swype. it worked for me
