  • Bravo!!!!!

  • beautiful song and movie :-)

  • 李屏賓 真的很棒

  • 真的很好聽!!

  • thanks so much for uploading this!!! i just watched this amaaazing movie last week. and i'm totally in love with it!!!

  • i cant get enough of this movie and song! absolutely beautiful

  • paying homage to your nickname, huh?

  • Come on, this whole movie was incredibly pretentious. it pretended to have some strong moral message but it didn't. it pretended to be all symbolic but it wasn't. I hate people who think they're really classy and cultured because they watch french films and think they can speak french. And before you call me racist, I AM french.

  • I wasn't going to call you racist, you silly nut. I don't speak french either, or watch films to pretend classiness, so if you're trying to attack me, or something, it won't work.

While I agree that this wasn't the most best movie in the world, I enjoyed some moments, and the music was great, including this song.

It's ok, you're entitled to dislike this movie, it's your opinion, I just feel that people who go trolling around saying how much they hate movies do it just to get attention.

  • Woah, calm down, i wasn't attacking you. Sorry if it sounded like it. I think this movie was pretentious, some people I know liked it. You're allowed to like this movie, but personally, I was literally counting down the minutes until it ended. I hate movies like this, but that's just me.

  • that's fair.

but really what does pretentious even mean? it's totally relative and people need to stop relying on labelling films as "pretentious" in order to dismiss them

go ahead and say "i hate this film cause it was slow and plotless and didn't go anywhere" but pretentious doesn't work half the time

  • lol it's funny cause the cause film didn't pretend at all to have any moral messages at all or any overt symbols. watch more hou hsiao-hsien and you'll understand

it's more of bazinian realism, unmediated reality and the viewer fills the film with whatever message/symbols s/he wants.

  • @AnnoyingLittleShit Like most people, you're just using the word "pretentious" to mean, "I didn't get it." It's a very straightforward and open movie if you have some patience; and there's no "moral message" intended - it's a simple portrait of people's lives.

I hate people who snipe at other people for having broader and more adventurous tastes than them. I *am* more classy and cultured than you. Not that that's hard. If you don't like that, don't go around proving it on public forums.

  • @yohei72 I seriously just pissed myself laughing at that last comment. don't use that patronizing tone with me, this movie isn't some kind of esoteric metaphor for life, all it is is some 'arty' film director having a gigantic wank, then displaying it on screen. I'm sorry that I see right through the facade but in my opinion this movie is absolute bullshit.

  • @AnnoyingLittleShit And *I* find people like you pretty funny - complaining about the tone other people address you in, after you start out with an aggressively insulting comment. Living up to your screenname, certainly. And again, you're arguing against things no one else is saying - I agree there's no esoteric metaphor here. It's a simple story.

You're imagining facades that aren't there, so you can congratulate yourself on seeing through them - that makes *you* pretentious.

  • ohh lordy lord. It's a simple story alright! The most interesting thing was when she bitched to her neighbours about leaving carrot peel under the stove. WOW something similar once happened to ME. but did i make a bullshit movie about it??? well i did actually.... BUT SERIOUSLY i'm not pretentious for finding something boring. I lived in Paris for a few months when I was a kid, and it's lovely, but the ordinary life of an ordinary Parisian is no basis for an interesting movie.

  • love this movie, love this song, love juliette!

  • anyone know where i can get this song? :) x

  • Tchin Tchin ( Flight of the Red Balloon ) - Camille

or The forgetten time (it is translated from a Chinese song by Tsai Chin)

  • 感覺還蠻特別的
