  • I'm sorry you lost your dog.

  • A bit off the topic but, I guess thats what Kalamazoo River looked like before Enbridge spilled oil there.

  • Heartless b@$t@rD$! :(

  • Was the dog, the target of whoever set the trap? Or was it there to trap a wild animal?

  • @MyVideoStop The trap was placed by the small lake to kill a large rodent called a nutria. Nutria are not a native species in Oregon, but Wildlife Services was irresponsible placing a lethal trap in this neighborhood where kids and animals play.

  • I am horrified by this story..traps are a cruel, inhumane way to kill an animal..I was raised in Africa and I still have nightmares about traps. I saw a loin that was killed by a trap, this poor animal had ripped its whole leg of and suffered horribly for days..I am still shaking as I remember this..how can anyone do a thing like that..poor family

  • @jaguarlover21 It's a sad story, but the good news is that the McCurtains are starting to heal their pain from the loss of Maggie because of this video and the work of Predator Defense. Recently they got a new puppy : )
