Just got the machinedrum myself, wondering if I should get a tetra aswell :) Btw this minicommand seems essential to the machinedrum. I heard some rumours about a v2 with 8 knobs, do you know anymore than me?

Very nice!! So amazing so many peeps can't believe you can do a deep set like you do with out a compy.. It can be done!! Early Pastikman, Aphex, Orbital, Moby etc was all non computer.. Try it, you'll love it!! Nice job Justin!

@fjl90 Hey. This is a computer-free setup. Every sound is made using only the Machinedrum and TETRA. The Machinedrum sends midi note data to the TETRA and the TETRA's audio is fed back into the machinedrum for processing.

@fjl90 The minicommand is a small, programmable (open source) midi controller. It's specially designed to work with the machinedrum and monomachine. I use it here to control the delay of the machinedrum.

Hi, great stuff here, I'm soon buying myself a md uw to be the masterpiece of my setup, and I'll sequence my tetra with it

May I ask how do you use the tetra? multi mode with 4 midi channels all routed to one stereo outputs, going then in the md's inputs ?

anyway that's a great little setup that seems to open a lots of possibilities ;)

Was really interesting to watch/listen to your vids and soundcloud live sets

@monstrejumo Thanks mate. For this particular track the Tetra is running in Split mode with 2 voices dedicated to the unison bass and 2 voices dedicated to the chord sound you hear later on. I made a small passive mixer that allows me to either send all 4 voices of the tetra to one input of the Machinedrum. Or send 2 voices to input A and the other 2 voices to input B, which is what I'm doing here.

Cheers mate! The minicommand is probably the most useful piece of hardware I own. I only use the WesenLive Patch. It's all I need for the time being.
