@SodaPopXtrordinaire True, when I watched the series AGES ago, I didn't really pay much attention to it, but I suppose when I focus just on the transformations and attacks, it reminds me of what is lacking. Even so, they did do quite well with the budget they had and considering it was made before 2003, I guess this was pretty good for its time :) I shouldn't really pick faults all things considering, especially since it's almost 10 years since it was made >_< lol

@W0lvesKey I can't really complain about the live-action. It's not for everyone for sure since some people are anime only people. But for me, I prefer the live-action over the anime. I'm always hoping to god that they will make the series with the out senshis....but I KNOW THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN! ;-;

@SodaPopXtrordinaire I do agree that the live-action is better than the anime. I love the storyline to it and the ending is EPIC :D The first season of the anime was good, but then it went downhill from there. The enemies were pathetic, the anime became badly drawn and it relied too heavily on pre-done attack sequences that often looked weaker than they really are. Although it is one of the most memorable anime's and some of the characters are funny, it really should've stuck to the manga :\

@W0lvesKey I think the first 2 seasons of the anime were the best. It stayed as true as it possibly could. From there I don't know what happened. It just went in a completely crazy direction. :/ I guess it's because I'm getting older or because I've seen so much anime now, but some faithfulness would be nice. XD

I believe if anything is gonna be made from a manga, then it should stick almost exactly to that manga, adding a few twists is alright, but like you said, after the second season, I just thought; 'wth?' It would've also been better if the animation was more fluid and drawn better, it's like the animators were too afraid to emphasise on their powers. And why is Usagi the only female character that can keep a well-known, steady relationship? Just a tad unfair :\

@W0lvesKey Apprently following the rules of anime physics, when someone transforms or does an attack, theyre like in theyre own universe where they can take all the time they want, but to everyone else it seems like it only took a few seconds.

@Gat720Dua It's kinda hard to make Sailor Moon not look like a cosplay without tweaking it extremely. But I bet it would be a huge outcry from the fans if they did something like that.

@Gat720Dua It's hard for me to even imagine a redesign since she's really iconic. And it's not like she wears just a one piece outfit with a symbol and a mask. She's got all sorts of things going on with her scout outfit. I imagine it'd be difficult to please the fans even if it's unrealistic. Hell people complained that Mars didn't have her slim stilettos in the live action which would have KILLED the actress in real life.

@jonje1993 No worries. I tried to not put many spoilers in the description. But in the finale movie, I believe I read the actress had gotten severely injured so they had to pretty much put her in a hospital bed during the entire thing. For me though, it works out since Venus was like that through the entire series. Especially at the end where she wasn't there at all.

@1999princessangel Venus had some critical disease though they never said what it was. But she does die in the series because of it. Which was a huge blow to fans because we never saw it coming. She comes back though after Usagi restores the planet and heals everyone.

@cooliolai I think they are actually pretty, it's the sailor costumes that weren't made right I think that turned me off of them at least. The princess sailor moon outfit was pretty cool though and I thought she looked really pretty in that.

@MyDayInTheLife She's always sorta represented pink when she transforms in the anime. I think too so her and Mars wouldn't have similar colors either.

@SodaPopXtrordinaire actually it was the concept art that's were they got the pink on Sailor Moon from. look at the concept art and you'll see that she has pink instead of red like in the rest of the art and the anime. i mean the broach is different but it's the same when it comes to PGSM.

Ah, I love Princess Moon. Although I don't like her dress .. or her hair-do as the princess .. But her harp and her attitude is awesome.

(Personally at last episode when the princess says "The past is finally over" I would've liked to see her and Prince Endymion holding hands and disappearing)
