When they get cut off, they fly off the handle. I've had bikers follow me to my house in front of my family and start swearing at us. Car drivers cut off other car drivers and they don't track you down and berate you. Shit happens. This Cody kid deserves a life sentence, don't get me wrong.

Sometimes I drive a cage and I have almost caused an accident to a biker but I make damn sure to put the hand up and say "my bad."

Some car drivers who cut you off are busy doing dumb shit they shouldn't be doing, and that's my fucking life they're fucking with so if I see that I might catch up and holler too.

I just watched this wmurtv video showing the kid's arraigment and where he claims he's not dangerous and I was absolutely floored at the end when they said they gave the kid his license back!!! Nevermind that his own words come accross as disengenuous, it is inconceivable to me that any so-called "judge" could come to that determination and I guess it shows how little they think of motorcyclists, in general. Imo, one has to be a sociopath to do what he did, it's far from normal teenage hijinx.

@KingCast65 I've had the same or similar thought many times, including this case (but often in the case of my own troubled childhood - and don't get me wrong, I have never done anything that remotely approached the depraved act that brought us here, which underscores the point about the double standard that applies), you could have had a black victim and the case probably would have been reduced to a B misdemeanor. I've had two incidents where a driver tried to harm me, once on the freeway, and once on the streets, and they were similar to this incident in that they used their vehicles to try and either hit me or cause me to crash. The attacks were random; I didn't do anything that I don't do everyday while driving, yet these normal acts made these two 50+ "gentlemen" homicidal. It's vital for motorcyclists to unite whenever these events reach the courts or justice will not be served as we know too well.
