I can't believe how much my ferret looks like yours! Same sable color and identical white patch on the throat. Mine dooks only very rarely, but I love it when he does it. I know it's a sign of excitment or stress, but when i hear it, it sounds like pure contentment to me :) Thanks for the post and God bless you and your little one(s)!

G'day Duke, none of my ferrets dook much, they are all very quiet. I got a new ferret a couple of days ago and she is very vocal atm, she makes a hissing sound at the girl and another sound around the boy which I'm not sure what it means cause she is not frightened of him.

That's cool. I had a hard time finding sounds of a ferret dooking on youtube in the past. Does he dook all the time?

He used to dook a lot when I first got him but now I hardly ever hear him dook. I am really glad I took this video so I can listen to his dooking when I want to now.

LOL... Our ferret(hubcap) thinks under our bed is his hiding place.. I looked under there the other day... I found 2 shoes I was missing.. And a few hair scrunchies... hahaha
