  • I've been using FL Studio for 1 year. Mind giving me some feedback? Subscribe if you like it!

  • The beat is pretty good, the bass are sick but the whole thing sound empty, you only have drums and a bass you need more things to put in there to fill it up maybe like some loops or some white noise or some other elements.

  • watch?v=ukqxIXiKQOc

plz tell me if this is any good

    ty

  • use compression on the final master cut. Track clipping like a bitch on decent speakers. Nice track but :)

  • Let me Guess..Gross beat @ 2:11..Sometimes i use that....

  • i like the bass , prettty good , should redo it in logic ! :D

  • Wooble is pretty good.

  • is fl fruity loops?

  • wow, hatrz. Think for a sec, before u speak. perhaps you're not getting it. perhaps u never will. Never a need for this negative attidude.

So anyways, I would FUCKING LOVE to know how to get that "whomp whomp" sound that you have there... it pretty brutal. I've been messing with EVERYTHING and I just got Fl 9. I've used it before, but it was a demo. either way, it'd be cool to pick ur brain so lemme know maybe we can exchange addys.

  • wow man i work whit fls already 4-5 years and i can tell you, you got rely bad quality. tips use better mastering like izotope ozone 4 or you can put multiband compresor mastering 6db you will get better sound =D

  • @Zer0Xet yeah i know what you mean man, my mastering does suck,. it doesn't help have a rubbish set up, i have to go to mates to here if my tracks are coming out ok lol, one of the reasons i've not been making manly FL tut lately. what are these programs you are on about for mastering?? i am in need thanks

  • @bobskimanic hh izotope 4 its fillter for only mastering of alot of styles and vocals and eq's search in google you will find and you got in multiband compresor 1 good mastering i use to put him on each track when i started found him alone =D so till you will find the izotop 4 use it its called mastering 6db its in the multiband compresor

  • 1:49 - 1:52 ....lmao idk why that shit makes me laugh so hard

  • Comment removed

  • leave him alone it'z an horrible sound:)))

  • REALY NICE....

  • at 1:55 those "applause from crowd" sounds don't really fit it but cool song bro

  • good beat but at times it feels a bit empty but really good

  • 1:34 how did you make that?

  • @xSunter He used gross beat most probably. =]

  • @CGBeats yeah man your right there, that's why in the 2nd half it goes to that crazy sounding bass lead..

  • @CGBeats yeah man your right there, that's why in the 2nd half of it goes to that crazy sounding bass lead..

  • 0_>

  • pretty fast for dubstep..

  • @McPstOfficial lawl, have u ever heard of drum and bass?

  • @1ceman22 well, if its supposed to be d'n'b, then it shouldnt say "dubstep dirty" in the title"..

But yeah.. I've heard of dnb..

  • how do you make it soo sick?! check out mine, yours is like firlthy but mine is like a nursery rhyme compared to yours. so can you just view it and comment on how to make it better please? Thanks :)

  • Jelouss :P im working on a dubstep song too but its soo empty :P

  • i only have the free version of fl studio 9, can you still load other effects and stuff to it?

  • What effects did you use to get the low womps at 1:48-1:51?

  • i can understand doing this, but how is this considered music?

  • this is pretty dope. check my latest track.

  • Don't you think it's a little to fast for dubstep?

  • @ARTFXSTUDIOS agree on that too, try taking it to 140 BPS (: check out my own if you wanna pick up some inspiration etc

  • @anharath666 Yeah or check my vids.

  • @anharath666 hahaha 140 beats per second? XD

  • @NixaTek ofcourse dude you suggesting something else?

  • @anharath666 i suggest 140 beats per minute XD

  • @NixaTek ahahaha damn ur right i meant BPM ofcourse hahaha :D

  • @anharath666 140 bps would mean 840 bpm, bit fast for dubstep haha

  • @NixaTek ye kinda "little" too fast lol >< you wouldn't even hear any sound anymore imo

  • Nice, but you need turn up high( high frequency) on the lead. :)

  • all i can say is.... damn

  • Glitchstep

  • i'm just starting on fl for dub, any pointers? rape my inbox with anything you got cuz i'm seeeeeeeriously trying to get really good with it

  • its more drumstep and theres no drop so its sounds like ur just being thrown into the song straight away good anyway

  • good but is to fast

  • those drums are legit, wobbles a bit like dead, sounds like a tard playing an electric guitar. drums are epic tho, any tutorials?

  • haha u used the standard fl studio vocals, but i like ur drums :)

  • awesome !!

  • incredible drums dude^^

  • dude its awesome! tutorial maybe?? :D

  • i don't want to play the anoying smart guy but this is actually DRUMSTEP

    very goooooood job

  • @MrPurpleLatex you arent smart faggot

  • Why bother with genrenames and related discussions anyways? Music is music. If it's good, it's good, if it's not, it's not.

    Nice beat dude :D

  • clik on" view" and them " close all window " more faster lol

  • @tripsy52 for what mate?..

  • @bobskimanic To close all the windows.

  • @bobskimanic your plugins

  • @tripsy52 F12 does the same, if you want it faster so bad :D

  • shits sick as fuck just the gay ass applause and radio tuning and some othe shit that just diddnt have to be there idk good shit

  • Why does the bass sound like a guitar?

  • @mynameisjonas45 because fl studio has about 400 different kinds of bass you can use, from fake synthy brass to low, earthy standing bass. he just found the perfect tone and went with it! this beat is sick. its super glitchcore

  • God, it took you a fucking minute just to start the damn song.

  • @poornation yeah cause i wanted to show all the FX that have gone in to it.

  • @bobskimanic I didn't see the FX, all I saw was blurred shit, you opening FL studio and you closing 30 windows..

  • @poornation stop hating jus appreciate the the fact that he show u wot hes done, ur only watchin this becuz u cant produce ur own

  • @1991bentwyning I never said anything was wrong about the song. Besides, how do you know I don't produce music if you haven't even checked my channel. And learn to spell.

  • @poornation ass

  • @nateypoo421 Sorry for stating the obvious. I'll stop using my brain like everyother youtuber out there next time.

  • hey man you know the GROSS BEAT plugin how do you stop that from efecting all the other beats like say i make a melody and i use gross beat then i put it on the thing and the gross beat effects my other melodys but if i change one gross beat it changes all of it how do i stop it from doing that please message me back

  • @TheCodyx7 the only way i can think of that happen is if you have all of your plug ins on the same fx channel, if you only want the gross beat to work on one of you plug ins, then you need it to have its on fx channel.. see if that helps,

  • @bobskimanic thnx man it helped

  • put grossbeat ona send and make sure you have separate instances for each melody...not on the same vst channel

  • @TheCodyx7

Right click the Volume nob for the gross beat in the mixer, and go to "Create Automation Clip"

  • @ManSlagProductions yea got it thnx

  • blue glitch?

  • @dragonkelv Yeah in bubstep you use it mostly on the hihat hits to give a glitch feel if that's what you're looking for

  • nice loop slicing

  • do you have a soundcloud?

  • youtube quality sucks dick

  • @fatermanproductions the second two may mostly be right, but the first point isn't completely true.

... and if I'm schooled then teacher, You spelled contrary wrong.

  • how long have you been using fruity loops for?

  • @KyeMarsden umm off n on for about 4 years now,.. i dont get on it as much as i would like,.. still got loads of tutorials to do,.. how come my friend?

  • @fatermanproductions not true

not all dubstep has to have wobbles, heavy sub can do 2

and usually dubstep is around 140 but can differ.

  • wat pluggins u usin man i see hardcore there as an effect but is it sytrus ?like the basses man proper glitchy 2,do you ever make breakcore ?

  • Dude dubstep is in 140bpm. you may think its in 70 some times but its just in cut time...

  • bro this is sick. for real haha its fuckin crazy man. you should upload one at 140 though, itd be cool to hear how it sounds a little slower

  • mhmm not bad, you did other than most the others thaz cool thaz inovative! rly like your drum n bassline, sounds dope! keep it up

  • Very dope track.. Whoever says Flstudio is weak obviously hasn't seen this.

  • grreat quality =)

  • dubstep/dnb....i actually sorta like it

  • dude same ill give this a five its really good great work man keep up the good work

  • Comment removed

  • the beat is too fast

  • pretty sweet man pretty sweet would you mind checking out mine im kinda new but still lol :)

  • sick!!

  • I still need a long looong way to go... =(

  • Bro, this track is SICK!

  • Not really dubstep.. Not really DnB! More like Breaks to me..

  • have any of u realised how fucking boring dubstep would be if everything was set to 140?

  • Nah this shit sounds fucking awesome great job nothing wrong with it great job

  • hey whats the plugin you had automated for the gitches for the drums and wobble bass?

  • You should set the tempo to 140 BPM, 160 is to fast to dubstep!

  • at first it didnt sound too much like dubstep, but it got more into the sound. thats debateable obviously. the only thing worse than labels is when poeple get labels wrong.

  • sickkkkkkkk

  • way too quick but sounds cool

  • Also, who cares about the tempo?

It's filthy and it wobbles. Sounds like dubstep to me.

The drum pattern is not a break; it is much to drawn into the tempo. If you don't know what a break beat is... I suggest you re-analyze Amen.

  • This is great.

With regards to the bass, what are you automating to get that trashy wobble at about 1:19-1:21?

  • this is more dnb than dubstep

  • im a bit of a FL studio 9 noob..... what thing did u use to get that dubsteppy sound???

  • nice man, like the DnB style with the dub in it. reminds me of Drum and Bass Arena.. The Creeper.. Sick as fuck

  • Sounds very good! but to much BPM for dubstep

  • nice! i've just started learning fl studio,

plz check out my tracks and comment . piz

  • Good.

  • nothing wrong with the bpm

I thought you sampled a little much though

  • good shit how you make that mucky almost reece sound

  • props!

  • check out my dubstep and other music!!!

  • really glitchy. reminds me of old school glitch mob, edIT type shit. nice work.

  • okay! everyone dubstep is usualy based at around 140 BPM im a dubstep producer as wel....BUT for everyone else that may not kno, drum n bass is at a speed ranging 180 to 210 BPM this was at 160, thats ok, if sum of u havent noticed, rusko even has a couple of tracks that are questionable in speed. so, just because its 160, does NOT mean it isnt dubstep, great job man, i think it is a wonderful track

  • why did you use an electric guitar for the wobble???

  • sounds more like dnb to me...slow it down and use the halfbeat

  • @TheNonWho He did use halfbeat and it's not even that close to DnB.

  • wow damn why all the fuzz about the bpm?

since when are tunes categorized by bpm, i thought it's about the style.

this is definetly dubstep and i really like it!

    Nice work bobskimanic.

  • mean drumloop need work on the wobbles, nice use of effects gw keep it coming

  • How you make dubstep sounds ?

  • its really too fast 160bpm's it's more like a drum n base... dubstep must be slow... and with fat bass... but very good try... i think you will do some nice dubstep in the future ! :) thumbs up :)

  • using the gross beat is boring, and if u really want to make good whobbles yayas and stuff like that use NI Massive !

  • Nice man..

That's actually a beast little track.

  • dont like the hard distortion the rest is WELl done :D thumbs up!

  • I just finished a new dubstep track Called "FILTHY PEEWEE". Let me know what you think

  • Its good but its too quick for dubstep, plus you have your BPM at 160, dubstep beats usually have tempo's around 140BPM

  • i'd give it a five! this is really awesome

  • aww nice one :) bit of a long start to it though haha, needed more work but i get board with tham very easy, hearing the same ting over and over haha

  • @bobskimanic Lol , thats what im like... then it sounds worse and worse everytime it replays :P

  • not bad please check mine out i posted a video responce

    bless

  • fukin ace

  • pretty good dude. can you please send me the .flp file ? :( i'll subscribe :D

  • nah i think 160 is too fast for dubstep its dnb speed man you can't get bpm changes the general sound of the song

  • @stimeymoko

interchanging the tempo only changes how fast the sequencer plays. its how you lay the notes that changes the speed of the pattern. for example, for an average drum and bass track its around 170-180bpm so lets say 175, i would quad that and make it 700bpm, therefore leaving more sequencer space becuase i place the notes four times the distance apart.

over all kick ass production 5/5

  • yeah i have been tould this, i do make dub step at 140bpm'ish just this one sounded better at 160bpm.

  • @stimeymoko Urm okay

    1. Dubstep doesn't have to be 140. It can anyspeed the producer wants it to be. In this case 160. Just because most dubstep is 140 doesn't mean it has to be.

    2. I would say that most music is a mash up of drums and sounds. That's how you get it layered.

@bobskimanic I really like it :) it's kinda got a glitchcore feel to it. I've been trying to get that kinda feel with my dubstep but I can never work out the best way to do it :P

  • nice one dude! you should here my new one if ya like this one, its not done in FL tho ive been working on logic. got a really shit wobble tho, well 9 of them.

  • @0Method dub is usually 70bpm. can be done at 140, if u got drums on every other beat, and the wobble is not. then it can sound ok. i liek to do it at 140 coz its dub u can dance to. but ye, dub is usually 70 bpm.

  • @0Method if you get 160, its going to sound like drum 'n bass

  • @TheDailyDubstep Yes, but the drums also change if it's DnB or Dubstep, I think. It didn't sound like DnB in this one for me.

  • @TheDailyDubstep Not necessarily. This is 160 I don't really think it sounds like normal DnB at all.

  • @0Method tho like 99% of dubstep is 140..

  • @TehSaone lol I know but does that mean it has to be 140 everytime?

  • @0Method no i guess not, dubstep doesnt really have a set of rules like dnb or sumthing yet seeing how new shit takes over every other month but the perfect speed for dubstep is 140 thats why 99% is 140.
