Vancouver is an over-rated depressing city with horrible weather and rather aloof, unfriendly people. The harbour is very ordinary (compared to Sydney, Rio de Janeiro or Hong Kong) as the harbour in Vancouver is DEAD without the nightlife, ferries and beautiful beaches of Sydney. Oh, did I mention the awful weather? As for quality of life, Sydney has it all over Vancouver. Sydney is a much larger and more sophisticated city with an unmatched lifestyle that is the envy of the world.

@UncleSamProduction I apologize on behalf of the so called "fans" who left a negative impression of Vancouver to the rest of the world... twice. I am embarrassed that their actions became a catalyst to ruining our image. They do not represent the city as a whole and I hope that that particular event does not deflate your opinion of this city.

I wish I could here "Oh when Canada won the record for most gold medals during the winter Olympics. No I could just hear people saying "Vancouver where people burn down their own city during hockey games." But yeah it's mainly Anarchist that came just to wreck the place. And people say weed is bad.
I disagree with calling Vancouver the most livable city. That's the opinion of people who've never lived there. First the city has poorly designed roads, getting around is really tough, no freeways, a lot of hobos, drugs, lots of addicts, everything is expensive, nah man it sux ass, plus there aren't good well paying jobs, Houston Texas is better IMO.
For the outdoorsy gay? How many types of gays are there? I thought gays were just people like everybody else, just with their special flavor of sexual preference. Why do you have to make it sound so special? It's like gays are a different species.
