Whoever said that paintballers don't like airsoft needs to speak for themselves. I love mil-sim paintball and so naturally I'm fond of airsoft for its very close simulation. Even though I've never tried it, it just doesn't seem as intense as paintball from my perspective (may just be the people I watch) so I'm not going to spend the money to get really into it. But definitely an additional option later down the road ;)
Maybe someday youll be able to try out a gas blow back rifle. I cant wait to get one because of the simulated recoil. Perhaps using a GBBR and playing a couple scenario games might change your perspective.

The airsofters who play at Hollywood Sports wear paintball masks because the park's policies tell them to. Trust me, if it wasn't mandatory, 90% of the airsofters there would not wear paintball masks.
