I've never used a Mavrick so I cannot compare the two. I do enjoy the xodus. It is a good yo-yo that is well built. I can use it for most tricks and it is an affective off string yo-yo as well.
My first string trick was brain twister. That is were I recommend you to start string tricks after you have the basics, which I assume you do. Thanks for watching.
I like it pretty well it has good response for off string and looping stuff but too much for long string tricks especially with a lot of wraps but I'm not good enough to test those limits anyways. all in all its a lot of fun.
xodus 2 is good but the mavrick is AWESOME
