so if there's a water stone in the water it doesn't matter if your root are in it ? what i you made like a safety net about a half inch above the water to stop the roots going in would that work ?

@dutch1565 I found that sometimes the root will grow so big that it will block the spray heads. You could use micro misters if you like but they can clog up more easily.

that was a great video, i have a question though. if i was to do seperate systems with an external res., how would i go about putting drains in rubbermaid container? (more specific, what do you think the best sealant for the drain would be to ensure no leakage?
