Dhanashree Tillana in not necessarily a Kuchipudi item. It was composed by Maharaja Swathi Thirunal of Kerala and it is used by Bharatanatyam and Mohiniyattam dancers as well.
Wow, I'm really impressed to see my South Indian culture conveyed in many different parts of the world. You are an excellent dancer, and I can say that with confidence after growing up around Carnatic Music and Kuchipudi dance. You are well versed, talented, and skillful dancer with appropriate expressions. I just recently performed this same thillana as an accompanying Tablaist in Raaga Dhanashree. It was definitely a wonderful experience.
if you're looking for similarities, kuchipudi to me is stylistically a halfway point between Bharata Natyam and Odissi, maybe reflecting the same fact geographically - that Andhra Pradesh is the middle point between Orissa and Tamil Nadu, or Orissa and Karnataka.
hey wats da difference between bharthanatyam and kuchipudi. This is the first time i've actually seen kuchipudi. You're a very talented dancer. gud luk 4 da future.

awesome!

thank you. Actually they are very similar. Kuchipudi is more sensuous, I believe, Bharatanatyam is more symbolical and geometrical

Hi, doesn't it seem like Kuchipudi is a cross between Kathak and Bharatanatyam?
