The age where Conservatives hold considerable sway in this nation seems to be coming to an end. They have been consistently wrong and every important issue for nearly a decade. History has shown that the United States only helps the worls if it gets something in return. This is a great nation, but we aren't angelic. We have a shady history

The United States is far from being mean. WE EARNED the power this nation has. It wasn't given to us! WE EARNED IT! Now, if you are a wussie and think the world should be and can be cotton canday and gum drops then you are sadly mistaken..because there are people out there who would rather cut your head off than listen to your "Can't we just get along" and join in a course of Cumbayá . Will never happen. The U.S. needs to take care of the U.S. We are a good country..not perfect, but good!

And so it would seem we've taken advantage of the power we've 'earned'. Winning a couple of wars and aiding our allies does not automatically give us the power the police the world, does it? Pay close attention. Those we saved in the World Wars were our allies. If we were in the same situation, the same gratitude would be paid to us. We are owed nothing from France or reat Britain. That's what allies do, they aid each other unconditionally. Anything would be 'mean'.
