She was engaging in "small talk" with them and was basically getting around to asking the usual harassment questions like, show me some I.D., etc. She was at least smart enough to know what their rights are. The police cannot detain or interrogate you if there is no probable cause, nor do you have to answer any questions. She did the right thing by walking away. There was no other choice other than violating their civil rights.

She was engaging in "small talk" with them and was basically getting around to asking the usual harassment questions like, show me some I.D., etc. She was at least smart enough to know what their rights are. The police cannot detain or interrogate you if there is no probable cause, nor do you have to answer any questions. She did the right thing by walking away. There was no other choice other than violating their civil rights.

The instances in which cops abuse people that respond to them respectfully are very small. It might help you to realize that a cops job is to take control of a situation upon arrival at a scene. This often doesn't come across as friendly. Also, remember, if cops seem edgy, it's because they are dealing with other peoples problems all day. @RP4409 You missed the point. You should treat an officer of the law with respect. In doing so, you allow everything to go smoothly for you and the officer and you don't waste everyone's time and tax dollars. People making trouble with the police (or anyone) are asking for trouble.
You did not treat this officer with respect. You didn't just disrespect her as an officer, you disrespected her as a woman.
By the way, yes, if a situation is out of control a cop has to gain control.

@RP4409 Well, for starters, I never used the word "deserve" so you are quoting me incorrectly right off the bat.
She didn't just apply for a job. She spent no less than a year training to be a cop, qualifying in all sorts of trials that I'm not so sure you could necessarily accomplish, and she took a pledge to take a bullet for anyone in town including you. From what I understand she was only trying to figure out why she had been called there. You were the ones fucking around with her.

@RP4409 By the way, Cops do NOT average $100,000 in Scottsdale. Did you forget that I could do a 10 second google search to confirm that you are full of shit? The average is half that. Even the Chief makes no more than $70,000.

I had their salaries pulled via a (FOIA) Freedom of Information Act from the the Scottsdale Human Resources department 2 years ago because of a lawsuit I have against them. It was also confirmed when I also requested it through their bonding insurance agency Risk Management. We also pulled them for Phoenix as well.
What they the public and what they really make are two different things.

@RP4409 Why don't you learn what AVERAGE means? In order for there to be an average you have to have a bunch of people floating around that supposed average. If she is the average cop and the average cop makes $100,000 she must be making somewhere around there, right? Do you think she makes anywhere NEAR $100,000? Do you really think ANY patrol officers make anywhere near that much? The higher ups, maybe, but not the guys in the patrol cars.
You imply you believe many cops make over $100,000.

inclined buy into the US vs Them mentality. If it was just one incident it wouldnt be that big of a deal...but every time she goes to work, she has to deal with tons of asswipes on their worst day. It starts to add up after awhile. So next time you see real police misconduct...think of the things you've done to turn good cops into bad ones...i know i will.

I support exposing police misconduct anytime it rears its ugly head. Nothing worse than a corrupt cop but in this instance from what I see in the video, this police officer was trying to be polite and engage in a little casual conversation when you decided to make an ass out of yourself. What you did was extremely counter productive. Alot of police today have an unhealthy attitude of "Us vs Them". A highly dangerous attitude for a public servant. Thanks to you, this officer will be more....

Well I am gonna say that that was a little condescending towards her. Yes shes pretty but just because of that doesnt mean you have to make things personal/sexual. Honestly if police forces used more pretty women I would comply with them all day, would make gettin pulled over better :) I wouldnt give a lady a hard time, unfortunatley a lot of guys look down on them and dont take them seriously...as for me, I give them respect for overcoming that.
