@teakey that says a lot more about how good Saturday morning has gotten rather than how bad this film is. Saturday morning cartoons aren't what they used to be. Spider-Man from the 90s wasn't even allowed to punch people and Wolverine wasn't allowed to use his claws except on sentinels on the 90s X-Men.

you hit the nail on the head, old man logan is the way to go. but as for this film ... the story or lack of it really let me down. plus, since when do tranquilizers take down the hulk? And if they do, why don't they just keep shooting the hulk up with tranqs everytime he gets free.  oh, the questions that will never be answered.

The Hulk has changed a lot over time. I think they were going for the early Hulk ideas when something like a tranq dart would take him down for a bit. Since then he's learned to breathe in space, become bullet proof and he's even been a mobster as Mr Fixit.

Never the same Hulk twice. I'd also love to see Planet Hulk and World War Hulk become animated features.

While they did do the flashback part well... seriously, is there ANY need to revisit Wolverine's weapon X backstory. Wolverine - being the little miss popular he is - has had his backstory gone over so many times, he got a whole series called Wolverine: Origins.

I personally feel the title was pretty misleading. While Wolverine going around murdering people was cool. Him vs. Hulk was pretty much tacked on and had NO resolution, as you said.

Fun but yeah... not really worth the price.

yeah i got agree with u with it being the closest adaptation to logan to be seen on screen ... but not the best in marvel dvd animated movie... that prize goes to the first ultimate avengers... and at a very close second the dr. strange movie... the iron animated was garbage... the next adventure was was good in the sense that it was about little kids and ultimate avengers 2 was good also eventhough i hated explaining the death of ant man to my 5 year old nephew..but why.but why.but why lol

That means that they know they have you and they don't even try. That means they'll never raise the standard of their product. You have to demand better from Marvel, from the companies who control your heroes.

hey, why buy the movie when you can see it for free? I just watch both movies and I thought they (other than short) were pretty good. with Hulk vs Wolvernie you got more blood and language in that one. I give it a 8/10 because I thought it had the action but not very long in lenth and I hate cliffhangers

I agree with this review. The movie had a pretty good plot and there was a lot of action for a cartoon, but the ending wasn't that good. Hulk vs. Thor was pretty good too. In this one there was a conclusion but there wasn't enough action or detail in the artwork. I agree with this review and say you should rent it.

The animation was very graphic.

I liked the story.

There wasn't much of a fight between wolverine and Hulk which was a huge let down.

The ending just ruined the entire film.

It was like... finally The Hulk and wolverine are going to go at it..... THE END.

Wolverine shouldn't have a prayer in Hell. Marvel kills me with when they want to adjust someone's ability for writers sake of fleshing out a story. This movie was plain bad writing. Wolverine has never bested Omega Red, let alone, take on Sabertooth, Ladydeath Strike and Deadpool at the same time he should have been killed before Deadpool could have utter a cheesy annoying phrase with that roster on his tail.

Not to mention the Hulk. Good action bad movie!!!

Sorry I got to disagree. With your comment on the violence/brutal level of Wolverine in X-men movie franchise I want you to go back and just count the number of ppl he kills and how he does it at the begging of X2.

Other than him stabbing Bruce Banner to induce the change nothing was out of the ordinary. Hell if he killed him in the beginning when he said he smell toxic that would have ended me going several times going are you 4 real.

Let's face it if Hulk can handle Thor who is a God...

Umm it's not the precursor to that series at all. it's almost on it's second season in Canada. In fact that show has it's own episode of Wolverine vs Hulk about 10 episodes into the first season. Sorry to break it to you but they have NOTHING to do with each other other than they have some of the same characters.

Batman vs Iron Man would be ok, but Iron Man over powers Batman and is just as brilliant,

Green Lantern is FAR more powerful than Carnage and The Silver Surfer would destroy the flash before the flash knew what was coming.

There's already a comic book of that that's a pretty decent graphic novel. The battles make more sense too. Batman vs Captain America, Superman vs The Hulk, The Flash vs Quicksilver, Aquaman vs Namor the Sub Mariner, Wolverine Vs Lobo.

I agree with you completely. the movie felt cheap, granted we've never seen logan portrayed the way he is depicted in the comics on film or in animated movies as well as this, the actual ending and over all movie leaves a lot to be desired.

Hulk basically destroyed both Wolverine and Thor within minutes of the fight, to the point where the latter was practically on death's doorstep (literally).

There's a difference between beating some one and killing. You need to read the comics more. Wolverine gets ripped in half in the Ultimate comics brawl. I think that counts as a win and wolverine lived.

not really. They're too short and the animation doesn't fit. If you don't like one of them, then you're wasting your money. If they sold them individually on say itunes I might be down for it, but right now, no way. I wouldn't pay 20 dollars for a 50/50 split of good and bad.

Besides they're not showing who the victors really are.

I actually really loved the wolverine part, however the thor part seemed quite lacking. I really liked how it was meant for the fans for example the quick shot of X-23 being incubated was freaking awesome. Overall really worth watching if u are a comic fan, if not the overall background of the characters might be lil confusing. Great review by the way, o and did u hear that the next lions gate marvel animation is "planet hulk" that should be sweet. Well thanx for the review man!!!!!

Old Man Logan is a comic book run in the Wolverine comics written by Mark Millar and it takes place in the future after almost all the x-men are dead, the children of bruce banner run the western seaboard, magneto runs the middle of the US, and Dr Doom runs the easy.
