  • When she cries at night And she doesn't think that I can hear her She tries to hide all the fears she feels inside So I pray this time I can be the man that she deserves 'Cause I die a little each time When she cries She's always been there for me Whenever I'm falling When nobody else believed She'd be there by my side I don't know how she takes it Just once I like to make it Then the tears of joy Will fill her loving eyes XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX MAT my BB
  • beautiful work

  • i love this song very much til my childhood crush (1996) said that everytime she hears this song Her world would stop and seeing butterflies.. now i love this song more because of her!

p.s. im already married with 1 daughter, shes still single.. hell,

  • I recall when I first heard this song on the radio, There was something about it that...struck me. This is a fantastic song and I give it a heartfelt thumbs up.

  • every man should hear this song..

  • drummer John Dittrich's voice reminds me something to Henley's

  • @myryckyz Absolutely

  • This song puts a little dust in tuffest guys eyes. Fast Moving Train is also a number one.

  • Thumbs up if you're watching in 2012!

  • THIS IS COUNTRY MUSIC !!!!!!!

  • one of the most 90's memorable song...

  • 3 WORDS.....

    SO FUCKING AWESOME.....

  • i love this song.....

  • a song with a heart.....

  • @TyrQ888 I agree. Heard any of those lately? We need more music like this.

  • Is this an 80s tune?

  • @uzielis Restless Heart formed in the 80's, but this song was released in 1992. It was not only big on the country charts, but was a crossover hit as well.

  • @tscotwv Ah, I see. Thank you!

  • cool, drummer/vocalist

  • @whoopin65 HAHA! WTF!? LMAO ARE U SERIOUS?

  • That has to be the greatest stache of all-time.

  • Cause i Die a Little Each Time When She Cries

  • The greatest era for county music..hands down.

  • i love this song. but as i hear it it just makes me want to cry like a little kid. im not sure why either.

  • I love this song so much!

  • i like this song!!!

  • What happened to the lead singer?

  • i love this song ! PROMiSE !

  • It was co-written by Sonny Lemaire, a bass player from Exile. It was amazing for the band since Larry Stewart, lead vocal and Dave Innis left the band at that time: it was a crisis for the band. However, the song bacame the biggest hit record for them; it reached no. 11 on HOT 100, no. 2 on Adult Contemporary, and no. 9 on the country singles. A real cross-over hit!

  • Damn jeff foxworthy was the drummer and singer for Restless Heart? That's awesome! This was and still is a great song!

  • great song

  • no, looks like Chuck Negron.

  • 다 벳! ^o^

  • great country song love it!!!

  • seen the oriengal restless hart and they were awesome even did this song in person

  • Their song from Secret of my Success is great too!

  • i love u guys

  • i love this song. it reminds me of my ex girlfriend.

  • love oldies songs

  • i love this song

  • I really love this muzic.....for me its no.1

  • I didn't know Yanni sang for Restless Heart!! LOL

  • Aw!! This is one of the greatest songs of all time!!!!

  • this is real music...

  • Beautiful song.

  • Classic!

  • I love this song, and this kind of music. It's real, has feeling, and is powerful. You know a song is great when it's still being played and enjoyed many years after it was introduced.

  • @Alphacause1. When you can feel the music Like I know he can, you don't have to watch what your hands and feet are doing. You don't even have to think about what you are going to do next it just flows. RH's music was so touchable because it reached out to everybody. This music was born In a time when we all thought country music was dying, it proved it still had one last good fight, RH was it. Today's music is so weak that I don't even call it music anymore.

  • Why can't people this days, appreciate this kind of music... :(

  • This was such a MONSTER cross-over hit...they must've gotten several million radio airplays on this...on ALL kinds of radio stations! What a great song....and great band.

  • You have to give a lot of respect to anyone who can play the drums and sing well at the same time.

  • @alphacause That does take some skill. Phil Collins can pull it off as well.

  • one of my favorite song, i can sing it well too in karaoke.

  • I love this song, because my dad used to dance with my older sister when we were little. My sister passed away when she was three and I was two. I cry so hard when ever i hear this song. I can sing the whole song, never forgot it.

  • This song is absolutely one of the best..

  • What sets great music apart isn't how old it is, isn't what artist it's by, it's whether or not it has a story, a message worth telling. It can be from any era, from any genre, and invariably, those are the songs you hear forty, fifty years down the road, playing on stations advertising that kind of music.

  • i grew up and got old with this music and am so lucky.

  • The band sang this song, during my first date with my husband.

  • Comment removed

  • I always thought this was solo Don Henley.

  • i listen to everything so i dont dis on music of any kind. The world would be a shitty place if we all liked the same music!!

  • An extremely underrated band. Great music.

  • @gassy4sure Yes indeed, Restless Heart is an under-rated band.

  • @gassy4sure - absolutely!!

  • epic porn stache !!

  • Agree !!!

  • EPIC *wipes eyes*

  • This is a good song. It was one of the first Country songs i ever heard.

  • Who in the hell other than a modern day punk who don't know shit going to rate this song or even music for that matter 25 thumbs down?

  • Music always seems better when it brings along nastalga!! The older the memory and the more vague it becomes makes the song seem better because it seems to enrich the memory.

  • Lead singer who also plays the drums? GET OUT! ;P

  • @GHZoner Phil Collins, if memory serves correctly, was the lead singer and drummer of Genesis.

  • @mackbee628 Peter Gabriel was their first lead singer until he went solo.

  • Been a fan of these guys since I was a kid and actually got to see them in concert and meet them afterwards for their autographs just the other night for the first time at Renfro Valley. Sound the same live as they do recorded. Just an amazing band and a group of guys to see and meet.

  • He also kinda looks like Dennis Eckersley!

  • @TJL31SJ dam bands need to stop breaking up it dont work well for the most part

  • @TJL31SJ he kinda looks like Chuck negron of three dog night

  • @bowsel OMG I never thought of that! He really does. He just needs a bell bottom leisure suit.

  • I'll get to see this Live in about 2 hours!! YEAH!!

  • I remember being in the back seat of my parents' Mustang, driving down a dirt road in west bum fuck backwoods Florida, and really loving this song.

  • I don't like this....i LOVE this....great song.....

  • I have a challenge for ya'll: Call up your local country radio station, and request a full day of nothing but 80s and 90s music. :)

  • The song 19 years old and still puts me in a good mood

  • always loved that slide guitar-- thanks for the upload - great music never dies!!

  • But this song is what bout 15yrs old ..... and still meaningful ... how much of the crap today will be around in 2-3 yrs

  • Old song is more meaningful and nice arrangement of music and leading guitarist drums and etc than the song today.... . like justin bebier..that guy... his song is so meaningless.....

  • i love how the words come back so easily

  • Nice to see that people remember the good tunes no longer heard on the radio all the time.... this stuff brings good memories to even me...

  • [ love this song i rember my older sisters playing this when i was younger

  • what year this song released pls tell me someone

  • @PEDROCLASSIC 1992, I believe. That's when I first heard it.

  • @Survivor1fan thanks. in that case RIP GOOD OLD MTV

  • This song and video ALWAYS makes me think about my first crush.

  • Fantastic song.. I love Oldies songs. I wish they will always play the 80s and 90s songs even in 70s,,

  • He sounds like Don Henley.

  • @blkjock81 Yeah he does sound like henley. Don is a great singer

  • @blkjock81 i thought the same thing.

  • You'd think the REAL music video could get better treatment than 240p. Same video quality as an Ipod Nano...congrats.

  • @Scootman78 self-correction: Same video quality as getting the video off UHF (anyone remember that?). Appreciate the video being posted, but don't be proud of it being "real" if it's not at a decent quality.

  • i love Restless Heart! like the old saying: "birds of a feather, flock together"......it is with music as it is in real life............the Bieber bunch can have each other!

  • I have been trying to think of the names this song and band, I love this song so much.

  • Or maybe it's just a bad day on Youtube. I dunno.

  • The sound is missing.

  • Please bring back this kind of music!!!!!!!!! I beg of every artist to make music like this!!!

  • the 25 people who disliked this video are morons and wouldn't know what "music" was if it bit them in the @ $ $

  • This video would be much better if the singer had a bunch of food stuck in his mustache.

  • Miss you John John.... Thanks for the wonderful Memories that will never ever go away. Thats one thing NOBODY can take from you are The Memories !

Thanks Restless Heart for my Hubby... Dario :-)

  • This guy has an epic mustache...

  • I'm gonna agree with you resoonder... kids these days wouldn't know real music with the soul and heart in it if it jumped up and bit them in the bottoms...it really is sad but my kids have learned this band well-I won't be raising no Jonas Brothers Justin Bieber loving tweeners! lol

  • This must be before Yanni's solo work...

  • I miss you Chris.

  • I used to listen to this song over and over again. Absolutely loved it.

  • Restless Heart had so many hits from the late eighties to the early nineties that it's pitiful. They could hit you with "I'll Still Be Loving You," "Why Does It Have To Be (Wrong Or Right?)," "Tell Me What You Dream," "When She Cries," and "The Bluest Eyes In Texas," and have you in the palm of their hands. What an incredible group from yesteryear.

  • Yanni plays drums?

  • @Beatles4President John Dittrich plays drums and does vocals

  • This dude is Bi Polar totally.

  • I remember seeing them in Concert in the early 90s. It was awesome.

  • That mustache deserves its own album.

  • Perfect Video for mustache March.

  • @Medialoungereview :: At first I thought It was too. At least Southern Rock, but I guess you can call It either one. Pop Country.

  • Its sad to see real music like this only has 636k views while crap like justin bieber and lady gaga and stuff like that has millions of views. Most of the youth today does not know what real music is and sadly a lot of music artists don't either.

  • @resoonder1 Could not agree more!

  • @resoonder1 Good music is the eye of the beholder. While some people may say Lady Gaga is a terrible music artist, others will say she is brilliant. It's about personal preference.

  • @deshy88umkc Your right but most music today is mindless and does not convey anything meaningful. Music like this did.

  • @deshy88umkc You are so right! But to a greater extent its about audience control, and the media's systematic manipulation of popular preference. Let's not get it twisted. A lot of music sucks these days with due reason, and it has less to do with anyone's preferences than the fact that people, for the most part will buy into anything thats put in front of them, no matter how bad it is.

  • @resoonder1 most of youth.. not me tho haha

  • @resoonder1 I'm 23 years old and I'll pick Restless Heart ANYDAY over Lady Gaga!!! Real music where the lyrics totally leave with you with an amazing feeling afterwards.

  • @resoonder1 It's all about quality vs quantity, though it is too bad that more people have no idea what good music is. At least there are 675K+ who know what it's all about!

  • @resoonder1 so true.

  • @resoonder1 it's just because the modern stuff is what gets played on the popular radio and tv stations. the media wants everyone to think that newer is better, so the old stuff gets a bad reputation.

  • @resoonder1 Thank You! The day of talented songwriters/musicians is at an end. That died at the end of the 90's. I can't stand the new disposable pop garbage.

  • @resoonder1 I totally agree...I can still remember as a teenager they made VIDEOS for their songs...now all we see is half naked girls bouncing their boobs around in front of the camera...

  • @GryffindorB Hey, there is nothing wrong with girls bouncing their boobs in front of the camera.

  • @resoonder1 Hell yeah it's a sad thing to watch

  • @resoonder1 It's even sadder when people can't shut the hell up about JB and Lady Gaga in other videos.

  • @resoonder1 Agree!!!!! This is one of my favorite groups and songs. :)

  • @resoonder1 yeah ur definitely right!

  • @resoonder1 How dare people have a different opinion than me, right?

  • @resoonder1 It's even sadder when Justin Biever and Lady Gaga get even more publicity than Restless Heart and other bands, because dipshits like you can't help but trash talk artists you supposedly hate but can't help but mentioning in the comments section.

Oh, the dipshit designation refers to the 96 of you who made this the top rated comment.

  • @resoonder1 ur ryt.the song is great.nobody appeciated the old songs,im a fanatic listener of old songs.

  • @resoonder1 , yeah, you're absolutely correct!!

  • @resoonder1 i agree. Todays music is mostly garbage and young kids love it so they might end up only knowing of that music thus, possibly never getting a chance to experience how good music used to be.

  • LOL despite cracking up about the Jeff Foxworthy comment this song rocks! I forgot about all of their great music! Southern rock's the shit!

  • This is such a Beautiful song & Alway's has been. TY 4 Shaing

  • Maybe if we bring back the mustache, the good music will follow.

  • Comment removed

  • @RobRobertTheMusicMan Who would disagree that it's your favorite country song of all time? We don't even know you.

  • This is "Country" Rock! Real lyrics you can relate to!

  • This brings back memories!

  • Have a listen to a very nice original song called " IN YOUR MIND " by andrew gerbasi feat steve morrison. Very good tune. Have a listen i think you'll enjoy ! cheers.

  • who could not like this song

  • haven't herd this song in ages sense i was a kid

  • God i love this song!! ;)

  • NIKKI & JAMES were here STILL standing strong.........

  • I was ten years old when this song came out. It's a very good song even if I'm never a big fan of country music.

  • is that jeff foxworthy?

  • @Acquisto lol they kinda look alike!!

  • @Acquisto umm nope
