Oh my living God! My heart just aches for all who went through this catastrophe. I am the mother of a son who lives in Amory, another small town about 8 miles from Smithville, I have been thanking Him for sparing my son and family and at the same time crying for the people of Smithville. May God help to restore, not only your town, but your faith. I continue to pray for you.
Thank You for this I live in Smithville It is just a small part of the damage as you say. My life was spared God covered me with his Mighty Hand and I know this simple truth God has a plan for me. I helped with search and rescue for the living & dead just minutes after the tornado hit My heart is covered with scars It was amazing to see live pople raise up out of the mud with hardly any clothes on and so sad a few feet over lay a dying innocent child & others dead . I will never be the same
