I love anything that flows and moves, hence I love the entire collection. The wedding gown is lovely. It looks heavy but it is beautiful. I love the blues, greens and pinks. I'm a girlie girl.
@Caurelvin well I can not really blame you, his designs are very beautiful but at the same time there is a certain level of artistic 'licence' on all of his designs and all of his creations appeal mostly according on how the impressions of being beautiful are elaborated in a sense of a girl's perspective and aesthetic idiosyncrasies but, there is one big exception on this remember that elie saab no matter what he creates...... stays most of the time in an aesthetic that has been forever
@Caurelvin een identified with him, the same juxtapositions, the movement of the collection is cohesive because elie saab is a 'harmonizing' factor on pfw; he prefers weightlessness, movement and motion, he is not on the side of wilderness and I personally blieve he will never be on that perspective because it is beyond the category and freedom of his artistic value and manner as a designer; he also prefers creations that are extremely wearable and would make every women
@Caurelvin appreciate the detailed 'simplicity' of his creations, and plus the fact when you would look on his past creations you would realize that even though he uses the same 'artistic ebb' he prefers the atmospheric effect of his creations rather than trying to expound a certain level of complex candor on a particular piece... he prefers subtlety, to harmonizing the effect of colors without being eccentric to the least, he prefers a unison and cohesion of a particular collection.....
I know the girls are used to mostly walking straight with arms down and nothing else, but I think some of them could work on how gracefully they put their hands on and off their hips. Karlie Kloss did a good job of it at 5:48.
omg toni should always be the bride, she is female perfection, i just felt the collection was a little boring this time, its like an elongation of the previous collection but the dresses are beautiful as always
connected with each other, THUS; creating a subdued, 'easy to digest' designs and a harmony to that is absolutely tasteful and applicable to every one's delight........

part of his designs and own standards) because as I try to weigh and gravitate myself to the different opinions of those who have watched elie saab's; if one would really separate the bias thing on one's mind regarding elie saab's designs, both those who oppose and who are the unflinching followers pf him have strong points of arguments, there is the applicability the functionality, the fluidity and the impeccability on his designs while others critique him his originality, the ideas that
I am concerned if whether I am going to appreciate elie saab intellectually (what I mean is to make a critique on his innovation , originality, and everything that concerns the sort of 'cerebral' part of his work that also consists of the flow of ideas and how it can apply to tastes and standards of those who are the classicists and the modernists), and here comes the 'women' part of me (whether I would just throw myself into the oohh and the ahh thing without really trying to touch the cerebral
Elie Saab , as others will argue especially women that are cut after the pattern of vogue etc. and other metaphorical figures of fashion will absolutely agree that he is undoubtedly one of the greatest, designers dedicated to throw light on the couture world that has been delineated by the word 'beauty' and 'grace' by designers who argued about the the vast perspective of interpreting and finding its most atrocious meaning, but sometimes as I oooooooh and aaaah when I watch his fashion shows
This might sound like a dumb question, but why, on most runways, do the incoming (onto the stage) models walk down the centre, and the outgoing (returning) walk over to one side? Wouldn't it make sense (from the point of view of spectators sitting on the side which doesn't get a close up of the garments) for incoming to walk closer to the right side, and when going back closer to the left? (pt of view from end, for left/right) It also avoids those subtle shoulder barge things some models do. ??
maybe, MAYBE, and its probably not the only reason, because the photographers form all the major magazines, newspapers and fashion blogs must take perfect pictures of all the pieces, and if the models walk close to the right side of the catwalk the pictures would come out with a quarter of the image taken up by the spectators, while the models going off the runway may walk right next to the spectators because they are no longer the spotlight piece....I dont really know, but thats what i imagine.
@Kayenne54 What you don't see are the hundreds of photographers and videographers that the models are looking straight at the end of the runway when they are walking. That's the reason why the incoming models are instructed to walk down the center, so that those photographers can get a clear shot of the garment that will be posted online and in magazines.
@RhythmJam Ok thanks. On some video fashion shows I've seen angles where photographers/cameras are grouped, so yes, that makes sense. I was just thinking more about the potential buyers seated at the sides....or am I incorrect in thinking that too?
This is what I mean for HAUTE COUTURE. It doesn't need to be edgy, showy, transgressive. It needs to be BEAUTY. And Elegance. Perfect as always, Elie.
there seems to be no barrier to the creations of the amazing genius elie saab. every time i think it cant get any more beautiful and breathtaking and everytime im astonished

In other words, some spectators ALWAYS get the best view of garments, because of how the runway is used. Does anyone know why?
