Now that I'm watching it unfold for the second time,this whole Terry and his brother storyline about child abuse just reeks. It just seems icky to break up his brother's family for suspicion. The idea that Saint Terry has to be appointed truth-teller in the lives of others. The brother's admission of having abused his children would be suspect. People often lie under pressure -- even lies that put them in a poor light -- just to be left alone.

You know, I've watched those episodes again and I'm not sure. There was a lot of emotion in the air. There was no need for evidence to be provided either way because Terry's brother sacrificed himself by admitting it -- acts of heroism to me are always suspect.
