This is the song which redefined how to write bass guitar for me.
Far too many bands just stick to 8th notes on the route of the chord of the song. This song really shows how the bass can be creative and add so much to a song.
In my opinion, the level of bass in this song is equal to something Steve Harris would come out with.

その通り。詳しく聞いたら、ＰＶ版とアルバム版との違うところが結構あるよ。
ま、Ｄｉｃｏｎｒｂｒｕｃさんもギターを弾いているみたいから、多分自分で違うところが簡単に聞こえるだろう。
俺はＢｌｕｅｂｌｏｏｄ版も好きだけど、この版の方が完全した気がする。特にソロの部分やね。

That is truly heroic. And I totally agree with you. This song really change dthe way that I saw bass.
In many songs the bass just plays the root note, but in Weekend, the bass is so expressive, it's wonderful :)
