It shouldn't be up to governments or ESRB to out right ban a game. People need to make their own decisions and control the content of their lives. Since the idiots out there couldn't handle this game "I" have to suffer the consequences. I think it's completely unfair and if it is too violent for you then here's an idea, put the fucking game down and play something else. I definitely believe since they have sticks in their ass people have to ruin other's good times..

i didnt agree with games being banned untill i saw these videos, were i come from you hear more and more storys of people torturing each other, usually late teens early 20's sometimes a little younger. Now it's not that a violent game will turn a good egg bad, its more that the people who are already fucked take inspiration from these things. there are storys of 16 year olds killing each other with knives and boiling water, bleach being thrown in a mothers face infront of her kids, etc etc

The funny thing is ESRB are stupid fucks and a dumb fuck could make it uncensored . All you have to do Is delete this line for every single level (Which takes like two minuets) and once you've done that now more blur's. I did it and It was so easy and worth it. That's a question for the guys in the government and at the ESRB. You know, Saw 2 was more violent than Manhunt 1 and 2, but it was able to be released uncensored.

Oh and GTASA wasn't censored. A sex scene was left locked into the games files. Modders hacked into the game's files and enabled the uncompleted scenes. However, most soccer moms and government officials thought it was a cheat code, so the game had to be recalled by Rockstar and the scenes had to be deleted.

True, however studies have found movies can cause people to become equally aggressive, because when they have no control over it, they find it more disturbing. Where as with a game your in control of what you see. And I disagree with your statement about no comparisons between movies and games, the two are one in the same. Movies are in my opinion far worse as they are realistic, special effects keep everything looking real, which is far more disturbing then pixels in a game in my opinion.

i once heard that this is actually the toned down version of mh2. heard the original didnt have the red distorting thing during executions. The original version was so violent that it got an adults only rating. no store would put adult only games on the shelves so rockstar toned it down a bit

I have torrented the Uncut Beta version, and it is indeed much better without the filters. The cutscene dialogue is a bit better, and makes more sense. Some executions are much more violent, but it's only downside is the lack of optimisation. The game tends to lag a lot. Is it true that a SCEE employee was fired for leaking this? PSP is region free, so if u really want this game buy a PSP and then buy manhunt 2 from bascially anywhere, me being an aussie it was extremely hard to get one because of the bannings and censorship, so researched and found my answer, it may not be the same quality but it is still the same game!
