MAC : No viruses , fast , awesome for video editing because of its performance. But its overpriced.

Being "virus free" because you're the minority isn't a very good defense ;-) So if you have a Mac/Linux PC, make sure you still install anti-virus software to protect yourself. I don't see what's bad about having a closed source OS on top of open source foundations. People always make it sound like open is always better, but open and closed are pretty irrelevant to the user. What matters is a good product and Apple definitely delivers that.

What I find to be sort of funny, is that I can make my PC look like this too. All you have to download is RocketDock and go Google "Mac Backgrounds" Then again, Macs are still "easier to use". But with Windows 7 and Snow Leopard both out, I don't want to start an argument. They are both used for different things when you think about it. Macs for "fun" video and picture. PC for games, and work...and video and picture too.

Well there are programs like Fruity Loops and Reason for Linux, Rosegarden for example, however I was never able to get VST's to work in it. If you do want to try music tools out in Linux, then the distribution that I would suggest would be Ubuntu Studio.
It performs as well as a UNIX related well polished OS would. not infallible and of course has glitches, sometimes programs freeze, and the very rare crash, common to all operating systems, but the design of the hardware is good, the OS is sound. So before you try blurting out, why not compare it to you're own mish mashed box of components that probably runs Windows on it's wank NT Architecture, enjoy you're crashes and shite performance, prick.
Man I think that internet should be free for all, for everybody. And there are a lot of people that think it like me. And this persons are them who develop and love opensource softwares. It's so nonsense spending thousand of dollars to buy operating systems, upgrade them or buy other softwares.

Lol, I don't know why everyone hates these computers, I personally love them. And it's cool because my whole school district is run with apple/mac products (admins, teachers, and student computers) and they run amazingly well.

only the ignorant rip on things they don't understand. i understand macs to some degree, but i rip on them because they don't do ANYTHING i need. everything i would run on a mac runs on windows. every special feature a mac has, linux has and with more customization. i have no use for osx and it has nothing to offer me, especially considering that i prefer to build my own computers. but thats just my view, and i don't think what i said applies to everyone, so not everyone should hate that much

Well there are programs like Fruity Loops and Reason for Linux, Rosegarden for example, however I was never able to get VST's to work in it. If you do want to try music tools out in Linux, then the distribution that I would suggest would be Ubuntu Studio.

It performs as well as a UNIX related well polished OS would. not infallible and of course has glitches, sometimes programs freeze, and the very rare crash, common to all operating systems, but the design of the hardware is good, the OS is sound. So before you try blurting out, why not compare it to you're own mish mashed box of components that probably runs Windows on it's wank NT Architecture, enjoy you're crashes and shite performance, prick.

ideneb is an iso of osx leopard modified to run on a pc.
it wont work depending on some of your hardware
it wont work if you have a radeon video card.
it will work if you have nvidia, an intel processor, an AMD processor but it has to be an sse2 or sse3. you need patience.
also when you boot into leopard on your pc, you cant load into windows but that is easily fixable. your internet device might not work. so you can buy an adapter.
