i got an alienware pc, im on it right now, it is the aurora and i added a comple of things to it, the price was 1604 when i was done, then all i did was got a girl on the line to flirt with the guy and got 200 off. i dont believe its overpriced because 1 it is a very nice machine and 2 u pay for the service and dell has rly good service. So anyone looking to buy an alienware i say do it because its awesome. But get a real screen, not a fucking mac..

I have the late 2007 aluminum model macbook pro, dual core duo 2.40ghz processor, 4gb ram, nvidea geforce 8600lm graphics. And I am able to play games like Left 4 Dead 2, MW2, Fallout new vegas, And crysis all on medium/high settings with 1600 x 900 resolution, 30-60fps. so learn your stuff before you talk shit on mac bros, p.s. I haven't upgraded shit on this thing.

Pretty much everyone could build there own machine, allmost all hardware is plug in play when it comes to comsumer rigs. @Stompdowner I just bought an Alienware M14x with similar specs to this one you see here for 1400$, it comes with a free Xbox 360 as well. (Although any smart consumer knows the 360 Price was factored in some how). But yeah 1300$ for a kick ass Lap Top, Portal 1, and a 360 slim and controller, I find to be pretty kick ass. Now spending 2000 or more on ANY lap top is ridiculous. If you can spend 2000 or more, get a desk top. 1500 is my ABSOLUTE MAX, on any lap top.

@Stompdowner Well I'd say 2000 dollars is too much. However with a Solid State Drive, I can easily forgive. SSD's are the way to go if you're willing to pay. I just didn't feel the need to hand out an extra 600 dollars for a 25GB SSD, especially on a 14 inch. I might buy one for 400 and it'll be a 50GB. Alienware did Over Price that 25GB though. That I'll admit.
