  • Nice job, kid! A bit tricky keeping a Bigsby in tune with a capo, innit? God will use you big time.

  • Very nice picking indeed!

  • Nice Gretsch tone..and Beatifically played....is the Vox and AC15 or the Valvetronics line?

  • awesome job. really well done!

  • bravo for the tune from Chet !! I love that ! from france ! you are a beautiful girl !!

  • Oh I love your music. I watch everything you post. You are so talented!!

  • Do you run your guitar through any pedal? Or is this the natural sound of the guitar? Great playing.

  • @gtrrockz84 Thanks for your comment. I have my guitar going through my Vox tube amp.

  • @BluegrassForte nice

  • @gtrrockz84 I'm pretty sure she's using the bar on the bigsby vibrato which gives the guitar its warbly sound. Chet Atkins often used this technique!

  • @gtrrockz84 Sounds like Don Ho stuff...Aloha

  • Unique techniq. You love it.

  • This is great, love this song, you play it well, excellent playing and use of the whammy.Love the finger picking.Pretty sound.

    MY REALLY CONGRATS

  • very cool! Very nice fluidity and clarity of the melody.

  • You have such wonderful talent and you have obviously worked to develop it - from an old geezer who doesn't pick very well but does it because it makes him smile.

  • Excellent playing and nice choice of songs. Jim

  • That sure is a stunning guitar!! Nice relaxed style! Always liked this style of music...even when I was a kid playing Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton style...still had a soft spot fort his type of material! Sweet!! ~♫ KK

  • That is absolutely beautiful guitar! It is exactly like some of my old 78 rpm cowboy records on that purple Okeh label. You;ve got that sound down perfect. I really like the picking, you alternate from kinda flat picking to finger plucks, from Roy Clark to Les Paul I hear in there. VERY nice work.

  • I really like your playing!!!

  • Fantastic!

  • most cool!

  • As I admire the way you play! It's beautiful! I find this particular groove that I did find that among Chet Atkins. You're a great guitarist! Thank you for giving us all these wonderful moments. Congratulations ...

  • Hey Lindsey! Good to hear you playing this. We play this at the assisted living centers with our group. Great job! My video i've been working on since February should be on here not too much longer, maybe in another month. I'm in the editing stage but have to wait for an fx effects software package being shipped to me to create the realistic gunsmoke for the next part of the video. It's been quite an undertaking but it's looking great though. Jeff

  • Hi Lindsey, very played well, great video. Have you like your last convention caas. Renald

  • excellent. Would like to hear your rendition of chet's "leaning on the everlasting arms." Johnny

  • I haven't seen CA Gretsch like that since 1957. The small one with the leather binding around the edges. That was my first decent guitar I bought in 1955 for the amount of $360. Traded it for the bigger one, but wish I hadn't. Thanks for the song.

  • Inspired me to give my acoustics a rest (for a day or two!) and do a bit of fingerpicking on my electrics - I really enjoyed it.

  • awesome

  • Very Well Done! Keep it coming!

  • Thank you so much for this post. I dearly love your music! You are so talented!

Please keep up the good music and keep posting on You Tube.

  • That's a really difficult piece to play with chords, melody and fill-ins all at the same time. Your playing put me in a prayerful mood..and I thank the Creator for blessing us with talented youngsters like you who fill our air space with such soul-stirring music.

  • This was good. I agree w/ some of the other commenters that you're getting better. The hymns are harder to play because its all 'tone'. No alternating bass and multiple voices...just straight tone.

  • Awesome job!!!!!

  • Great job hon, ur getting smoother all the time....Don

  • well a lot of tremolo picking, very good Lindsey! reminded me of a Hawaiian song just a little cheers

  • Beautiful job on a beautiful gospel tune.

  • Bonjour Lindsey !

Très jolie mélodie, c'était le Gospel song préféré de Dr Martin Luther King. J'aime beaucoup ton interprétation avec ta guitare Gretsch*****

    Bravo Lindsey !

My friend and i finished shooting the main part of the video out in west Texas, now the next part will be to get the rest of the characters that will be filmed on a outdoor greenscreen i'm building for the background shots we already filmed. Jeff

  • Great Job lindsey you are a very talented guitar player I love the sound of that Gretsch

  • beautiful playing, beautiful gretsch - you're already a great player if you keep practising the world's your lobster! I've been trying to learn Foggy Mountain Breakdown will post soon, check out the Martin Tallstrom tab - I bet you could do an awesome version of that.

  • Neat work, Lindsey! Keep pickin'...

  • Great job. Thanks for posting it. Bill

  • Super trem!

  • Good work...

Tremolo makes a really smart tune.

  • amen. nice job!

  • I liked that a lot. Not only do you do a great job playing all the old Chet music you are becoming very versatile in a lot of other ways. This video is a fine example of that.

  • Nice playing, Lindsay. You've captured Chet's sound brilliantly, with a few wee touches of your own.

Thanks again for subscribing to my channel. I've had over 900 hits on the videos in the 4 weeks I've been up. (I'm new to putting videos up). I've got a nice jazz guitar intro up on my channel, I hope you checked it out. Also a nice wee jazz guitar major seventh ending lesson, that you can use anytime (at the end of "This Guy's In Love".
