@z02480 thats a Civil Defense sign on the shirt aka Civil Defense=CD within a triangle... its before my time, BUT i still remember seeing old Signs of CD on them as a kid/teen in old school buildings and gov't buildings, etc... they we're SUPPOSED "Safe Places/Shelters" to take cover from a Nuclear attack by the U.S.S.R. Now the CD aka Civil Defense i think is pretty much known as Homeland Security... its the same thing tho' basically... Home Defense against enemy attacks... hope this helps!

Absolutely correct. I remember the "critics" were always comparing them to Nirvana back then... I was playing with a few bands around that time in Portland. As the story goes, that cat from Bush; Gavin (? Whatever. Sorry to all you Bush fans, but they rode the coattails of the Seattle Scene, especially Nirvana.) came to Seattle to check out what was going on; what all the hype was about. Then returned to the U.K. and formed Bush, about whom I have not one kind thing to say.

Definitley under rated. I love this song and this band. I saw them a few years ago when they where promoting "Welcome to the Drama Club". They were awesome in concert and played a lot of there awesome old songs as well as the new ones. Art is a trip. I got to meet the band after the show it was awesome. They were all really nice people. Got to let Art know his writing inspired songs that I wrote. Would love to see them again. It was worth the wait the first time.

love everclear...great lyrics...great performances...wonderful build into a heavy bass and drum....taking over the entire song except for alex's vocal...not a pretty voice but damn....it fits the music and is in key.....love it....oh...dont forgret the great chord change "hooks"

That was a looong time ago, I was 17, left work early, and was somewhere in the midst of all that crazyness... Definately worth leaving work early for lol. FYI, filmed under the Burnside Bridge in Portland Oregon. It was cool becuase the director handed out little cameras to some of the people in the crowd to run around and film the madness.

one of the best bands and underrated from the 90's they were still punk, even though they became widely known they didnt sell out and get crappy like most bands do. REAL punkrock, is not so much about noise, but its also gr8 musicianship, and as ppl get older the punk sound will grow up too, its a part of life, but punk, will always be raw. the crappy music that calls itself HXC? is not real punk, the vocals are over emphasized,and lack emotion & feeling. thumbs up if u agree.

Everclear used to be an awesome band, then they gave in to the radio-friendly bilge that still pollutes the air waves today. Just look at that Volvo Driving Soccer Mom song. Generic song, generic video, generic power pop sound.
I appreciate that you like this band, but if you think they've still got it you're out of your mind.

Absolutely correct. I remember the "critics" were always comparing them to Nirvana back then... I was playing with a few bands around that time in Portland. As the story goes, that cat from Bush; Gavin (? Whatever. Sorry to all you Bush fans, but they rode the coattails of the Seattle Scene, especially Nirvana.) came to Seattle to check out what was going on; what all the hype was about. Then returned to the U.K. and formed Bush, about whom I have not one kind thing to say.

Definitley under rated. I love this song and this band. I saw them a few years ago when they where promoting "Welcome to the Drama Club". They were awesome in concert and played a lot of there awesome old songs as well as the new ones. Art is a trip. I got to meet the band after the show it was awesome. They were all really nice people. Got to let Art know his writing inspired songs that I wrote. Would love to see them again. It was worth the wait the first time.
