It's funny to see pigs fall and get KTFO but its way easier to make a hole with lava and ladders, make some channels, place a couple spawners and fence it all up.. way more drops, takes less time and gets u cooked pork chops :)

jokes aside this is actually pretty effective depending on how big the hole is i tried this with 4 pig spawners and i got about 200 porks every about 10-30 mins all u needa do is make a bigger hole where they fall in and make it higher so they fall and take more damage sometimes pigs will not die at the height he was

i suggest putting the source water further back so the end of the water current is where they fall, almost ensuring they dont survive from the water, pushing the pork to another block down, thanks great video :)

@ryanozzy147 when the pigs fall down the hole in the center they die in impact. their drops then get swept away in the stream of water and end up at the end for easy pickup. :D

My pig farm was better. It was a forest on top of a mountain with a fence surrounding. The spawners were underneath the trees so it looked entirely natural. You just had to go in with your sword and go nutz.

@howtoguy17 a mob spawner can be found in dungeons, not picked up. it must be hacked into your inventory. unless you use a mod, when you place the spawner it will spawn pigs. To hack a mob spawner into your inventory you can use Minecraft Inventory Edit for windows and Inside Job for mac although i'm sure inside job works well with the latest patch
