@alaindiazaran A friend & I were saying more or less the same thing last week, movies have gone to hell ( they're at the same level now as the shitty music industry ), People in the movie industry now are lazy, I mean if something can be done on a computer for far less money & time no matter how shit it looks then they are gonna do it that way, it isn't gonna change either. Films like Weapon, Die Hard, Robocop, Aliens etc etc are gone forever. We don't even have genuine Movie stars anymore.

@robhere1982 yeah they are so lazy and they start using cgi (computer generated image) wtf the makes the sequences look like crap they need to go back and think how they used to do the movies and start from there they need to make the movies as they did in the 80's low tech no computers just stunts danger and pure epicness don't use cgi i know stunt stuff is dangerous but no pain no gain! stop being so lazy and work your ass off like the old days

@alaindiazaran right, real stuff always looks way more kickass than cgi, even though i wouldnt blame technology entirely, i could imagine if used properly it COULD enhance a movie, but its rarely seen

@robhere1982 exactly my sayin, ironically GOOD EXAMPLES of cgi ARE movies from that era : like Jurassic park and T2. so its not only an overuse/ bad use of cgi but also "shaky" camera too fast cuts etc etc and also theres no atmosphere in movies nowadays , thats not only due to digital/hd effects...its just the times man, even commercials had kinda an atmosphere back then so its just our times that are too soulless

thats why i go see a new movie like once or twice a year only

I saw one flaw. The part were Murtaugh asks if he's crazy or if he's as good as he says is altered. In the movie he said "you're gonna have to trust me" but in this one he says "no one can touch me. Did anyone else notice this?

The film is the BLUEPRINT for buddy cop films. Plus it spawned an excellent sequel.

Sadly the franchise went into the toilet afterwards.

Gibson and Glover are perfect as Riggs and Murtaugh.

Just like DIE HARD, this is one of my favorite movies of all time......i mean , actionmovies.
