Damn I miss this lineup of AFOS...... Takes me back to when I had not a care in the world, except listening to cool music, watching cool movies, chasing the girls and having fun with my friends... Long live the 80's and the myriad of bands/music that made that decade beyond unique.

AFOS are back, but not in an ironic way. I was at the Marquis of Landsdowne in Dalston tonight and the DJ and his young crew were playing Wishing in all seriousness. It went down really well. I think at last we have a new generation that gets this!

With the 1980's being all about futuristic sci-fi sort of lifestyle this song and video was bound to be a huge hit! I loved it and still do. The late 80's all the way through the 90's was more about grunge, retro-hippie, and rap music. Even past 2000 it's still not as cool as the 80's. I miss that whole "FUTURISTIC" space age theme.
