OMG thank you so much!!! im just learning how to sew and i have to make a tutu thing for my halloween costume and i needed to change it to purple thread. the only difference between our sewing machines is that yours has red on it and my thread holding is horizontal
This Singer {3343c} was a fairly good model. In fact, any Singer made up to 1990 was pretty good. Not as good as there metal machines from the 1940's to the late 1960's. But anything made after 1990 is just plastic junk that should be avoided like the plague! Now, you should redo this tutorial and leave out the music {very distracting} and please talk slower.
this tutorial was not helpful at all. first of all, you're moving way too fast and as a beginner I couldn't follow along. I didn't even know what you're talking about. video sucks!
would like to learn to thread my singer sewing machine. This video would have been great, but the music is to loud, so I can't understand what the lady is saying:O(tigercrazylady
Thank you. My sister-in-law passed away and I've come to be the new owner of her singer 3343c. This was helpful. I'd love if you had a diagram/video on oiling this machine because I have no manual and it seems difficult to get this info online.
Mechanical compared to computerized. No auto loading or auto threading on this "old reliable" machine. No programs to increase your learning curve, just you and a sewing machine!

you chose crappy music and daft editing over proper instruction, explaination and content. Total rubbish. To blazes with your "how to" video

It is not helpfull, you go fast and you cover the machine with your arm most of the times.

I've seen copies of the manual on sale sometimes. Try ebay or google.
That sounds like a good video, though, so I'll put it on my to do list. Thanks for the suggestion!
