@struebs14 In a private zoo. I kind of wish he were mine but at the same time that would make me happier than the jaguar I'd say. He was born in captivity and will remain that way since they are not allowed to repopulate them into the wild once raised in captivity.

@fancyedits My personal view is that all wild animals should stay in the wild. Some animals are happy living with humans, most are happier being free. No cage can be as valuable to an animal as the freedom of their natural habitat. So that means we have to try to preserve and restore rainforest, ocean, deserts etc. that have been destroyed by us. In this case the private zoo had reared this baby born in captivity. They are not allowed to put it back into the wild so it remains in captivity.

@Vydeohs I definitely agree with you there on preserving natural habitats, but while most humans are massive consumers and ignorant, or just right out not care, about the repercussions of their actions, I think it's a good idea for there to be owners. I'm more leaning on the idea of breeders to repopulate species, but still, it's been proven that, in human care, animals live longer. When they're treated right, of course.
